| Great game from him yesterday and has to play Saturday which means if fitz is back then agar will have to drop one of radford, dowes or cusack. My guess is either sam will be out or he'll go with 5 props (asuming fitz and tickle play otherwise he'll play radfor in the 2nd row and drop burnett)

He should have been in the side from the start of the season. As you say though will Agar have the balls to drop one of Dowes, Yak or RADFORD? I doubt it.

You are obsessed with Radford, he has not been our worst prop this season.
Personally I would say Moa has to play next week but I am not sure who I would drop out of the other three, possibly Dowes or Yak.

My opinion is that he has been our worst prop this season. We should have got rid last season and replaced him with a younger fitter prop. It's not that I'm obsessed with Radford, more that I'm obsessed with playing Moa for the good of the team.

| Didn't go yesterday but glad to hear from all who did that he went well. As happened last season he will get better and better the more time he plays as his fitness improves. If his performance yesterday was good then it would be diabolical if he didn't play next week.

Not sure tbh but he seemed to be on for a while, easily our best prop, gave us some really good go forward.

| For me we should only ever play Dowes, Radford and Yak in the same 17 when injuries dictate as they do not offer any real go forward that Moa gives. Yes they do work hard etc but we cant rely on O'Meley and Lauaki for all the go forward every game.

I thought that when he was on the pitch, thats when we started to score tries and have the momentum.

| I've not seen him play this year but how is he doing defensively? He looks a similar type player to Feka at Wigan and he seems to get targetted by oppo who make him tackle a lot and eventually find the space around him. Is Moa in this bracket or is he better in that respect?

You dont want to run at Moa trust me. He hits really hard in defence and I've not seen any evidence of him being so tired he drops off tackles.

We were discussing this yesterday at the game, you would expect him to have some frailties in defence but he really doesn't and despite his size he is very fit and works really hard.

Thats what made me ask, you normally have to 'carry' impact players like him and they can end up being a luxury, 15 - 20 decent minutes max. I thought this would be why Agar hasn't played him that much this year and seems to have to be forced to play him to allow others to rest. If he is as solid as you say players like him are very hard to come by.

Ask Michael Monaghan.

| I would say that Moa had as much if not more game time than O'meley and was more effective and that is not picking holes in O'meley who worked very hard.
I can not see any obvious reason why Sam will not play on Saturday and if we can get some sort of half back combo that will not keep sending our forwards in waves of straight lines, Fitz, Ogre, Moa, Lauaki and Manu could cause Leeds some difficulty.

| Dowes was poor yesterday. I'd expect him to miss out in the cup if the others are back.

I agree Dowes was ineffective yesterday and he should drop out along with Burnett (who had a reasonable game) to make way for Tickle and Fitz. Moa should keep his place.

| hes been constantly good in defence and the two bigs hits he has put in in the last two games have been some of the biggest of the season by any player and like many have said he always makes yards.
still a young prop as well who has many years ahead, one of my current favouraites.
Dowes to drop out as he's been ordinary at best

| I'm almost certain that our great young British coach will find some way of dropping big Sam !!
Dowes should be dropped but will probably keep his bench spot and Sam will make way.

| Sam Moa should be in the team, no doubt.
Watching Cusack, Dowes and Radford over the past few seasons, I have to say all three constantly disappoint me. Defensively they are ok but they are painfully slow and do not carry it hard or fast. Radford always turns his back into the tackle, which is a strange habit and often he offloads in stupid situations. I couldn’t believe they gave him the contract extension last year. He also gives a lot of penalties away. Cusack is a professional but I’m glad he is retiring to be honest. Both him and Dowes are error free but they need to carry it harder. Too often they carry it up with a limp jog and then get put on their backs. They stand so shallow when taking a run and the lack of momentum is evident in the contact. I know they all give their best, but what we should be asking is, is there best good enough? We will never progress whilst we are retaining these sorts of players.

| Radford or Dowes to go , both are useless at best but on recent form although Radford is a donkey he is better in most respects than Dowes who for me is looking far below average at present, doesnt look interested to me!!
moa had a good game for the first time, and looked fit too , lets hope he keeps this up and proves me wrong again.
But drop either Rads or dowes , either one is no loss

| Moa needs to be playing on saturday without a doubt. I would drop either Dowes or Cusack for the game.
