hope he is okay but its a squad game and we should be able to do nearly as well wothout him. This was bound to happen sooner or later thats why saints got rid and now it looks as tho we will have to carry him.

If it is a broken bone, that could happen to anyone, regardless of age. Although we have options there, there is no doubting the difference Long has made in the team with his leadership.

Indeed. Two well known facts in RL:

1. You can do just as well without your first choice scrum half, even if the second choice isn't actually a scrum half at all.

2. Older players are more prone to broken bones.

Yep saw him come out in the second half on crutches with a surgical boot on. Hopefully that is a precautionary measure till scans etc reveal all.

A fit athlete of 32/33 should have no problems with their bones.

Lets hope he is ok . Know he is getting on a bit . But still a quality player .

Lets be honest and I am sure I will get critised on here, but what has he done since been here One good game at SH other than that nothing for me, i expected much much more too casual with the kick today and seems to spend way too much time as a second centre.

We said the same tbh... Definitely need more consistency.

His tackling has been one of the best aspects of his game for me, but like a poster pointed out we have only seen the best of him in 1 game, the saints game, I want to see a lot more tbh.

I am beginning to wonder about the signing of sean. Seems very injury prone. Could the money we spent on him have gone elsewhere I dont know its just my thoughts.
