What a farce; could be a masterstroke though. Let's all email the RFL singing his praises then we can get a proper coach in!

Why on earth is it a full time role? For a game against France and the Tri Nations?
The sooner we forget about England/Scotland/Wales/Ireland and just field the genuine GB team again the better; bring back proper tours to Oz and Kangaroo tours.

League just isn't an international game; it's played seriously in Oz, South Auckland and the north of England.

I don't want agar anywhere near England,I don't want a English coach and I don't want a full time one for 4/5 games a year!

If its a full time job, then it would good for both parties. Im not on the Agar get out bandwaggon, but sometime in the future Hull are going to to decide if he is worth a new contract.

Seems all the decent coaches are staying well away form this job. Even Dennis Betts got an interview FFS!!!!

He's the perfect man for the job he has such a large knowledge of the younsters coming through in the british game that he will be one step ahead of anyone else in the frame. Club Rugby isn't his style he's more suited to picking a squad from a pool of players.

Think Kear will get it personally. And yes, I know according to the article he has yet to be interviewed.

Let's hope that it's a full time appointment and that he makes a good impression !!
