The pass for R.Horne in the first half and the cut out "Cooke' pass to Raynor in the second once again proved his worth to our club. A club that has next to ball handlers. Right, now I've waived the red flag at all you 'King only does it at the end of the season' mob, shoot me down. The facts are he is still a class player and has done as much to stay at the club as Cussack, Dowes and Tickle.

In a game that meant nothing to either team . No pace no size no go forward and no chance at hull next season . Think hes finished as a s/l player . Hes threw his career away and cant blame no one else .

I reckon someone in SL will give him a chance, even if only for a year. Look at how much baggage Fauminua has and Cas still gave him another chance (which didn't work out obviously)

he's had a decade to become more professional off the pitch, but it never happens. His 9 lives have ran out at this club.

also over the years his performances are inconsistent, its no good having a stormer in a nothing game when the seasons over. We need our props to produce in the big games.

Doesnt matter we wont be seeing him in a hull shirt again,apparently wakey and cas are inteerested plus quite a few league 1 clubs.

Will always be a case of "what might have been" for King unfortunately with a combination of bad injury luck and personal attitude/lifestyle choices meaning he never fulfilled his potential to be a regular international prop. Disappointing all round.

Had the talent to be one of the best props of his generation. And wasted it.

Thought he had a cracking game last night and it was his pass to Raynor. However I agree with most people on here, time for him to move on. Real sad waste of such great potential - but he's enjoyed it!

Hull through and Through, and great potential and the occasional stand-out game has offset a terrible off-field approach to the game, and bad example in the team for me for years - but no more. Thanks Paul, but no thanks.

good riddance imo peaked 2002 and has spiralled into oblivion by his own doing and for some reason we constantly rewarded him with new contracts.

I've said before, I like King. On the pitch he always puts in his best. Unfortunately, it looks like he is on his way out, so, thank you Mr King.

Nope Matty. The cut out pass to Raynor in the second half, which put Raynor away and was the FC highlight of the game. The one real piece of quality, a pass that neither half back was capable of. Take on board what you all say, my problem is that I don't see King off the pitch like the bulk of our forum members.

Kingy shouldn't be given a new contract he literally takes the p!ss out of the club. As soon as he knows he's signed a new contract, his consistant poor performances will soon creep back in. Time to move on for Mr. King imo.

He already has a contract for next season, as he signed a new 2 year contract end of last year.

Sayiny that he wont be with us next year as he's going to be leaving the club at the end of this season.

His plusses are he loves the club and is a good ball handler for a prop forward, will give his all especially against Rovers. Problem is allegidly he eats the wrong stuff, drinks, the wrong stuff and is sloppy and tempramental in training. He has been the centre of rumour innuendo and controversy for years.

He is one of my favourite characters, notice I ssaid Characters rather than players, and it will be a sad day when he goes But at the end of the day we have all known this for ages and much as I love Paul in an Fc shirt, big decisions and a massive clearout are needed. We've known that for ages, now it is about to be announced tomorrow don't start getting cold feet!!! 11 players to go in total, and there are bound to be some we like, but hard times call for drastic action!

You can just hear it now can't you this board has been crammed with folks calling for players heads and the coach to take some action and have a big clear out. When it is announced it will be all the wrong players!!!
