i hope it keeps on like this for a while, as we always seem to play better as the 'underdog'

plus to be fair to other RL fans in general, the only time we've been on TV is against Hudds, and that wasn't our best performance this season

But we get very little coverage of matches full stop. So little exposure, in fact, that the pundits and commentators simply do not know enough about us any more to pass constructive comment.

Stevo thinks it's all down purely to Horney, end of, and as for Offiah's comments last Sunday, it was like a 4 year old trying to explain the depths of a Picasso.

There were virtually none of our matches live in the latter part of last season and only one this, so it's no wonder they know nowt and are reduced to spouting cliches or re-quoting other journalists who were present at our match. They also appear to be employing another tactic to disguise their ignorance, that of focussing on the defects of our opponents who they have had more opportunity to analyse because of more exposure time.

Whether or not it was right to neglect us in the first place, or to continue to not give us coverage now we look strong is the same question I have been asking for years - but then the Hull teams have always been the forgotten ones IMO.

Still, it seems to be setting us in good stead so far, just wonder if they'll recognise who the ones in Black and White are when the teams run out at Old Trafford

I've long since stopped expecting anything in the way of recognition. Even in 2005/6 when we made finals both years and had that massive winning run we were never taken seriously. Can you imagine it being the same if it had been Wigan or Warrington doing it? I don't watch Boots & All anymore. HullFC.TV all the way.

That's it,i have worked it out.The reason we are doing so well is because of the light numbers on the back our shirts.

Lets keep the white numbers if it p###es Eddie and Cullen off then its a winner for me. Plus undefeated away from home, I see no reason to change.

As for recognition who gives a fig. One day they will wake up a realise that we have gone about our business quietly without fuss and big " we are going to win everything " statements and we are actually a far better more grounded team for it.

Take Wire for example about how blowing up too many ass holes can make you look a fool.

I see Cullen looks forward to watching Rovers more than anyone in SL at the moment

I just think he likes the style of rugby the team plays.

I always thought there was "something of the night" about him.

If I were a (cough cough spit) wovers fan, I would be quite worried by that, but still, it is good news for the other 13 teams!!!

Just watched the on-line version of Boots 'n' all. They give Hull a good rap and there are some sensible comments from someone who understands forward play.

Correct, its just spoilt by Eddie going on about a trivial matter like our numbers, and then his link into wonderful Wire changing theirs.

That's what I was getting at to be honest..... The video was running and that just kept on babbling about shirts when there was some great plays being put together on the screen.

I do feel though when we play well it's brushed over generally and blamed on the oppositions mistakes.

(Oh well we might have something better to talk about today!)
