Couple of people mentioned this to me.
I honestly cannot remember as many errors in a match.
As much as I want Agar out, the players made so many errors tonight to the point of incredularity.
Agar Out has always been my goal, but I have to say that tonight, it was all the players fault. Was it on purpose??????????

Deliberate loss? Not a chance, they'd have won if they'd tried to do that.

Deliberate....not a chance. It was poor options at the end of sets where we really gained ground. Our defence and approach play was really very good. finishing let us down. If we had finished well we would have thrashed them. its just a poor start it will come good in the end and we will be in the mix and in a couple of finals and we will all be happy and oh so proud of the whole set up. Kath will be given the freedom of the city and we will carrt Agar on our shoulders. Rule will be made prime minister and all of hull will have the scent of an alpine meadow..........................................mother wheres me tablets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had the ref not carted you down the field for endless offsides and you had taken your chances and we had taken ours (remember we had 2 disallowed as well) It would have been closer but lets get some perspective here you were totally owned by a young vibrant team that went toe to toe with your display of riches compared to our squad and you were out played out paced and outclassed. No matter how you look at it in every department you came up short against a team put together of fringe players.

Wakefield were awesome last night you wont be the only fall guys this season trust me. As these young lads start gaining confidence our attack will get in motion we have the pace and tonight I though we defended very well yes you bombed some chances but give credit to the other team.

You beat us last night with what is essentially a National League team. I will be rooting for you, but you won't play any other teams as bad as we played last night.

No offense intended, but I totally disagree. Wakefield were not awesome. In fact, I'd say they were pretty bloody poor. The amount of breaks we made through your defence, the number of poor balls your players threw, the kicking game, they were just lacking. Wakefield were not good last night at all. Yet, they were still a lot better than we were, and that's what pains me. Wakey were enthusiastic, motivated, and playing as a team. We weren't. The choices our players make are shocking, and the lack of options they have are also shocking (but considering we make even the easiest choices wrong, I guess throwing in some difficult things like dummy runners might make these choices even harder!).

Had we played an awesome team last night, we'd have had 60 on us at home. No disrespect to Wakefield who have been through a lot recently, but in no way would I describe there performance as anything other than below-average.

Wakefield didn't beat anyone last night, FC lost the game.

They didnt deliberately lose though.

I heard this morning Moa is not injured and some of the players are furious he was dropped and Longy walked straight back in, make of it what you want, but I heard weeks ago there was a big division in the camp.

Or they did not deliberately play very well

I prefer to think they didnt play well due to poor preperation and poor motivation by a poor coach as well as poor decision making by a poor coach strategically during the game.

Well your theory does seem the more sensible one I must admit

It's insulting to Wakefield to suggest that your side losing was in some way deliberate.

They were better than you and they won.

I agree with what you say,but I am having great difficulty getting over it.

The tongue in cheek suggestion about our players deliberately not performing has got nothing to do with Wakefield. No one on here is suggesting they weren't the better team and they didn't deserve to win. Think you need to understand the wider context of how some FC fans are feeling rather than your blinkered defensive approach for Wakey.

Its what happens, i'm waiting for the head rumours or a falling out in the squad.

Got a cheeky text from a Wakey fan saying "That's Obst's fee paid then".

It didn't seem a 'tongue in cheek' post from where I'm sitting.

It was at best incredibly bitter and at worst potentially libellous.


The cold hard facts were that your side was outplayed and turned over (at home) by a team lower in the table than Hull FC that you all expected you were going to beat comfortably.

It didn't happen and now you are all looking for an excuse.


Sorry to be blunt about it but thats the way it is.


I'm not a Wakey supporter by the way.

I think that we need look no further than Mr Agar.

TBH I dont want Wakey out, to be outsung by 200 of them is a joke on our part, i wish them well, look forward to going there this year, and next year at Cas or Barnsley or anywhere. An average quality team who can play as a unit for their gaffer deserves all the rewards they get.
