Following an exciting year, it is sad that due to ill health, I intend to hand over the reins to new owners, Ryan Whitcut and Mark Moore of Bedzrus, subject to RFL approval. Ryan and Mark both share the same passion as I do for the club.

My objective, together with Gerry Sutcliffe MP, to move the club from the threat of extinction has been achieved and I have spent every single day for the past year at the club in order to reinvigorate it and bring it back to life. A lot of hard work and investment has gone into Bulls and now it’s time to ensure the longevity of the club, which is part of Bradford’s Heritage. The club is in a much stronger position and the time is now right to move it forward.

Bradford Bulls will always be part of my life and I will never forget the kindness, loyalty and friendship shown to me and my family by the supporters and everyone involved at the club.

I would like to thank all the Board of Directors who have worked tirelessly with me to save the club and can confirm that Gerry Sutcliffe MP and Vipin Joshi also intend to step down as Directors.

Yep. As I just said on the VT I can see the bottom of SL being a bloodbath come the end of 2014.
London, Wakey and Bradford are in the mire as it is relegation will probably put them far deeper in it for years.

Another club living beyond their means who will shortly get the begging bowl out again. When you remember how arrogant they were at one time it does make me smile.

Yes they do look a bit flakey now. It was a bit galling that they "refused" to sell players to get themselves out of their difficulties (I know a few left anyway) but were still baled out. At least Wakefield have taken the time honoured route to try to get out of their problems (whether it will be enough remains to be seen). Widnes have been in that position many times in the past and you have just got to bite the bullet if you want to stay in business.

Although it has been frustrating that we haven't signed as many good players as most fans would like our owners are being sensible and cautious trying to build a sustainable Club. Looks like there will be some interesting developments before the 2014 season kicks off!

We should take carvel off them for a year aswell as Bateman ?

Tell you what you can have Bateman (as you tried to get him last year) and we'll have Carvell!

how many shares did the new owners have? seems like they wanted all of the shares rather than the majority. you would have thought they would have got that bit sorted out before they announced they were taking over. could be that khan promised them the shares then retracted. perhaps he wants to take charge again, maybe he is over his 'ill health'. or have the new owners realised they have bitten off more than they could chew after looking at the club's finances, and are looking for a way out. all very odd.

Well I won't be putting in the bucket this time. Really feel for the Bradford fans, but it needs a permanent solution this time.

Put in the bucket first time. Not doing it again until they've got someone decent in charge.

Sounds like their new signings have been told they can look for other clubs. Dale Ferguson might be worth a look at if Tuson's gone long term.

I'd have taken ferguson first time round when he was leaving Hudds, would also look at Manofokuao (spelling?).

Not just the new signings. But the board that said that has walked now. If you wanted to sign a Bulls player, it isn't even clear who you would call right now.

good point, if you signed an under contract player, who would you pay a transfer fee to?

I'd like to think there is now light at the end of the tunnel for them but I believe there could be a few more mile to go yet.

Can't see how they can avoid a points deduction again, would expect them to start season on -4 points, which in a season of relegation would leave them in a difficult position.

Although with the RFL having a vested interest anything could happen

The RFL have proved time and again that their rule book is not a book of rules but more of a guide line when the situation suites.
