| Why does he seem be untouchable in this absolute clusterf**k of a season, in fact the last few years of decline to where we are now? The official FC Facebook game posts seem to be levelling most of the blame at his door yet on here the cuddle crew won't say a bad thing about him - I've said my piece, I can't stand him, want him gone and will be very happy that the cancer at this club is gone when he's goes

I hear you, I can’t stand the bloke, but can’t see him going anytime soon unfortunately. Years of cutting corners have come back to bite us, no wonder Rovers have a clean bill of health as they have 6 full time strength/conditioning/physio staff, where we just pick kids up from uni with no experience because they are cheap.

| McRae said there was cancer at the club when he was in charge so it’s been around for ages…As for Pearson,he should have evolved the squad after 2017 but Radford led us down another path and yes Pearson has made bad choices/decisions and cash has been tight for him….he delivered something no other owners did 2 Wembley wins and possibly saved club during Covid but don’t let that cloud your vitriol towards him and let’s be honest…you won’t go as you only post when they lose…top grade bell end

| Mixed feelings about him. I think he was led down the garden path by Tony and trusted his judgement wholeheartedly which has come to bite us in the backside massively.
Before then, employing Clarke to do Motu’s job was an awful piece of business, which ultimately began the downfall since 2017.
There’s no doubt running the club through Covid was a hard task and I do believe he did what he could to keep us afloat (Grand Final at KC will have surely brought revenue, for example), which again rightly or wrongly meant cost saving. But, we are reaping what we sow now and are bottom of the league because of cheap options and very bad pieces of buisiness - ultimately very poor recruitment and retention.
I’m glad he took action early this year, getting rid of Tony and Stan and bringing in a DoR, along with realising he (and we) need new investment. From what I’ve heard he will be a minority stakeholder until eventually being fully bought out.

Because it’s not his money

He’s run out of both

| A bit of perspective is needed, like the man or not the fact remains that nobody else has wanted to put their money where their mouth is, since Covid especially we’ve been losing money (everyone in SL has too) so someone going to have to either pump money in to clear the debts or we have to cut costs. We’ve simply had to cut costs.
Think Adam will admit himself he’s made or at least signed off on some pretty bum calls that have made a bad situation worse, but he can’t just f*ck off like some fans seem to want. He’s looking for investment or a sale, hopefully someone suitable can come in. The green isn’t always greener on the other side though.

What money are we talking about here? Do you have any evidence that money has been put in and it’s ‘no longer Adams club’ or is it purely speculation or your imagination? If you know something spill the beans because most fans are desperate to know what’s going on.

It’s clearly not imagination.
Pearson said himself that we have new investment coming in. On the back of that Smith was sacked, Mylder brought in, plenty of players shown the door and a new coach brought in.
Unless you’re suggesting Pearson was lying, we have to go by what we’ve been told.

| There’s no such thing as investment in rugby league. Its donations. The so called donor has not agreed to anything and the funds that may or may not come is not what you all are praying for. He is not a charity and Myler is there for no other reason than to be paid. Funds are not coming in the scale you all think. See what happens in November. Sorry to burst your bubble. Make this post.

| Lost faith in him. On the cold light of day in 12 full seasons we've had 2 good ones (2016 and 2017) and even then if I was being picky we dropped off in the league when it mattered. There's been a few ok seasons (2012, 2013, 2020) but apart from that it's the same cycle of disappointment and then empty promises at pass sale time.
If he doesn't have the cash then we don't need him here for his leadership skills either. Time to go.

I put him on ignore a while back, just here to wind up Hull fans, I still see his posts when people quote them, and on the basis of his posts since he has been on here, whatever he says the opposite will happen.

He said they’re actively looking for investment. Investment could literally mean mean anything from a loan to sponsorship or simply buying a small stake in the club. So yeah it is is someone’s imagination if they say Adam no longer owns the club unless they know something we don’t. Also a club performing terribly sacking the coach and replacing players doesn’t mean someone’s bought or buying the club. They literally had no other option.
As for the Myler thing I agree it’s too much of a coincidence to not not mean anything, but can’t see it being a full takeover. If I had to guess I’d say a small stake in the club in return for letting Myler take the DOR role. I struggle to see what motivation someone without an emotional connection to the club would invest in Hull or RL in general.

I actually did spill the beans months ago when
I received an email from the Club and I knew then
that we were going to be saved.
I couldn’t name the source but it’s all come true.
We are SPENDING over a million surely than
Our normal budget
Look at the additions to the wage bill ! Now and next season

| I dont wanna knock Adam but fresh money is needed and it does look like that is about to happen..
I remember him saying when appointing TS, that this would be his last coaching appointment.. 2yrs ago now ?.. takeovers dont just happen overnight so probably he was in early disscussions back then to sell the club!.
How do you make money out of Hull FC when we dont own the ground ,?.. that topic has been talked about before on here.... Personally think Adam has done right for us in the main and i believe that any debt that has popped up he has tried to pay it off as quickly as possible.. just my take on it.

Fair enough if you have inside information and are confident in that fair play, I just didn’t see how someone could make that conclusion from what’s in the public domain.
The million pound extra spend I find hard to believe personally, I know it’s not all playing staff but what we’ve brought in still seems bottom of the table budget to me. I hope your right and just hope any extra spending is sustainable and keeps the club secure long term.

| In regards to Adam Pearson as the Owner and Custodian of this once great club he has to take the ultimate responsibility for the situation the club is in. He will always be regarded quite rightly as the one that delivered 2 of the clubs greatest days and the ultimate achievement of funding a team that removed the Wembley monkey from our backs. He has also saved the clubs existence through Covid, which is no mean feat and as a business owner myself going through Covid when you do not have any income yet still have to honor payments, believe you me it is and was not easy and takes a huge toll on you personally.
Anyone that says he should be gone needs to have a think about the Covid situation alone before making such frankly ridiculous statements.
But for all the good he has done and overseen, my word there is also a lot of pretty awful stuff he has over seen and is accountable for.
I think he was poorly advised at the start by McRae who very few would have said shouldn't be trusted, he should have stuck with Gentle and binned Radford, instead he did the opposite, then just kept Radford on for far too long, placed far too much faith in him probably because of the playing squad & characters in the squad pre 2018. Once those players started to leave and their collective abilities were broken up and individual abilities where starting to come to wain Pearson needed to have been acting, but he failed to make the tough calls needed. The calls weren't just ones in regards the playing staff but also in the running of the club and support he had at board level, Tony Sutton & Leigh Jenkinson 2 huge misses off field, along with Motu, instead he over appointed Clark etc.
Hindsight is a truly wonderful thing but looking back I strongly believe the die was cast when he sacked Gentle and appointed Radford, the rest they say is history.
If Adam hadn't have come along I doubt we'd be any better, quite possibly worse off or gone altogether, so love him or hate him without him its fair to say we'd have been screwed and I'm thankful for that though that doesn't mean I am not holding him to account.
Its a tough slog on your own and with only your own money, we only have to look across the city of that evidence and the difference its made to them with other investment being made into a club both in terms of finance and at board level.

It's because he doesn't take accountability, he now has someone else who he can pass the blame to in Myler who ultimately cops the slack on social media, rather than the one who has overseen the sad demise of this club.
It isn't often I use the word hate for someone, but I have had a genuine hatred for Pearson for years. His attitude and demeanour reflects why we are such a laughing stock in this sport. We had some bad results prior to Radford's departure, however his sacking on live TV has proved to be a significant turning point in this clubs recent history, everything since that point has been negative, bad managers, bad staff, bad players, bad results, reducing pass numbers and attendances.
The one thing that has kept this club going is the core group of supporters it has, it stayed loyal during covid and has been patient during quite frankly shocking times, however more and more fans who i consider as 'hardcore' are giving up and losing interest, without them this club is nothing. Have we ever had an apology from Pearson? has there ever been a fans forum where he can at least talk and explain to fans on the situation? No, he sits in silence until its pass sales time to tell us about the amazing 6ft aussies we've signed.
Going back to Covid, every other SL side survived the Pandemic, some such as Rovers, Salford and Leigh are now flying. Why? because their owners weren't afraid to source outside investment. Pearson has been the sole owner of a club in a minority sport for 12 years, and then complains about how little money there is and the financial burden placed on his shoulders. The decision to seek outside investment should have been made years ago, the 2016-17 team should of been the selling point, instead he took the glory for himself and remained a sole owner.
I just don't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth anymore, at least we are now finally getting investment, but is it really going to be significant as originally suggested? Nobody really knows, its cloak and dagger like it has been for years. I will be happy when he finally leaves the club.

I don't feel cheated at the start of the season I said we needed a 7 to guide us round the park and it would be a long hard season but I really didn't think we'd have only won 3 games but expected bottom four finish, we've cut corners and done everything on the cheap and it's caught up to us now.

| Not sure Pearson is untouchable, he's had plenty of criticism from all places.
Not sure what can be done, he is here to stay unless someone comes in with money and wants to be the front person.

If he's hoping for repayment via club profits then he'll be waiting a long time. Even when the club is firing we only make a small profit and crowds are about to nose dive.
If he has no money to offer what else is he offering as Owner/CEO? It certainly isn't good staff recruitment skills we can say that for certain.
