realistically its hard to see how we win. think we just have to go into it with same same vigour as recent performances and look to make it a close, competitive game. no further injuries would also be a huge bonus

Things were looking up then bang 3 injuries. Just the luck of this season. Would of been nice to see the club replace Pele with the two week break we've just had in time for the Salford game. Give us a bit more strike

Ashworth is a big loss for us along with Sao, particularly with the loan and subsequent release of Pele as we are very much lightweight once again in the middle.
Scott is a loss but not one that leaves as big a hole as Ashworth & Sao, fingers crossed Cartwright will be fit enough to make his debut.
Hopefully the club and coaching staff see this as an opportunity to give the likes of Gardiner, Laidlaw, Armstrong and Jebson etc to grasp.

I'd probably go with that, though would prefer to put Jebson or Armstrong in the 17 ahead of Okunbor to be totally honest.

Would continue with Smith and Balmforth at hooker, as don't think either should be dropped for Danny just to come straight back in without having a run out in the reserves and if he was to come in it shouldn't be at the expense of Balmforth.

Some tough decisions to make. Do Walker and Houghton come back in? Does Litten get a chance at full back after impressing at the weekend? Does Ockunbor get a chance to redeem himself?

Hopefully Cartwright is good to go. Need his size with losing Ashworth and Sao.

Yes, tickets for the North Stand (away end) are available from the stadium ticket office. Hull get allocated the North Stand and West Stand W01 it is away seating.

Houghton is back in the 21 man squad with Smith and Balmforth. Let's hope Balmforth makes the 18 and comes off the bench. I'd give him fifteen minutes either side of half time to see if he can have an impact again.

Can only see a defeat on Sunday but hopefully with the effort shown in the last couple of games.

I cannot understand this endless criticism of Houghton. Yeshe is not James Roby but many coaches wiser than us play him for reasons some of which we don’t see. The ones I see are tackling, game management, kicking, less so his running now. I do agree he needs to be spelled in games and not play when he carries more than just the regular niggles

If Houghton insists he is fit then Grix will play him.
It should be the Physio who declares him fit not Houghton himself

Houghton would be fine if played in shorter stints ut grix persists in flogging him for 80 minutes when he's clearly not up to it

Any body else got a feeling Grix will go with Houghton and Smith seeing as Cartwright and Myler extended Balmforths contract….part of me hopes he does then they can get rid of him.

To be fair Grix is openly said this week that Houghton has more than just rib injuries. I just don’t see why we have to shoe horn him in to the squad. Yes he’s been a great servant but Father Time has caught up not helped by a refusal to play him in 20min spells.
