I’m not a big NRL watcher, I saw all the state of origin matches, is this guy a good player, or a potentially good player. I’ve never really heard of him.

Potentially I think is the word, is very quick and can pass, reminds me of a Field type player. Probably not quite good enough for the NRL, doesn't mean he won't do well in SL.

I think Rider that due to the salary cap all signings are either potentials or over 30's coming over here for a last big pay day. I prefer the former.

Carlos came over here from the same club, roughly the same age and same amount of games. Lets hope he is as a good signing.

Yes regardless of howTex performs during his stay with us, it’s got to be the right direction in our signing strategy, mix this with a few replacement experience players for Mau, possibly the destructive Wakey second row Kelepi if Wakey depart the league, give Joey his chance to replace Danny, for me doing this now, gives Joey the position I thought he was brought here for, I would switch Jake to play with Gale and run with Walker at the back.

No one as far as know has destroyed Shaul at all, he was supported when he broke in to the team. Unfortunately Father Time has caught up with him and especially following his ACL injury. There’s no room for sentiment and as a club we have being guilty of that for too long. Without the pace he once had Shaul just doesn’t have enough about his game.

And with the added benefit of trying to impress while here to get a shot back in the NRL ala Hastings. We have been a very slow team but at least BH is addressing that by bringing in younger fitter players with some pace.

Would imagine that with arrival of Trueman & Hoy next season along with Connor still being with the club a big question mark is on Gale getting an extension.

Can't see there's anyway Gale will be here next season Chris unless there's that dreaded rumoured clause in his contract.

You make a good observation about trying to impress to get a contract back home. It's true but it's highlights the difference in quality and finance between SL and the NRL and the gap will continue to grow exponentially.

It took Field one year to play 2 games, girls injured first game of 2021 season and played 2nd game a year later.

It's saying alot but your comment about Shaul is about the worst I've seen you put, how can we be blamed for Sha, got plenty support, not the fans fault he hasn't played well consistently since about 2018.

He will have to show a dramatic improvement over what he has shown at NRL level.

Nope not at all, people have the NRL on this pedestal for some reason. It’s as though if you’ve played there you must be something special.

But I agree not everyone who plays in the Nrl is top class infact there's many average players ( like any league )
