I know contracts appear to mean nothing these days but League Express had an article stating Radford was not getting the job and he was going to USA in September all being well as he had not been there yet because of Covid-19 last year. Still I’d welcome Watts back, he’s never been replaced.

radford wasnt the problem with watts from what i was told so i wouldnt get too excited

I think it's incredible that LR gets the Cas job. LR coached a pub team, then our U16s then FC. He's a pub team coach. I feel sorry for Cas

A change would do he good, wont be with his mates,but probably wont be as resourced as he was at Hull.

I'd back him to win the cup at Cas, which surely any Cas would take.

And if he doesn't he's a failure imo he's under pressure to be better than radford

I don't think people actually did start to have a pop as you say after he was sacked.

There were those who defended him vehemently based on his 2 cup wins and those who thought his 2 cup wins bought him more time then he deserved in face of some embarrassing performances and his record breaking losses.

Hodgson is under no pressure and he may not win 2 cups but the club will certainly be better off under his stewardship in terms of culture, processes and player development.

If Lee does get the Cas job, I wish him the best of luck.
We will always be grateful for those wonderful days out at Wembley but rightly so his time had to come to an end after that Warrington game.
We seem to have a much happier team nowadays.
