hopefully some of the skills training and more match fitness will get us a result

If so and Mini's not back that's some challenge with 4 of our starting 6 in the pack absent, particularly away to the side that "reinvented the sport" last season. They said on Sky I think that they'd probably only expect us to have one training session before we play our next game.

5 full days rest and jetlag imo shouldn't be to much of a problem, 2 weeks in the sun should be full of the beans, don't think we can use it as an excuse,

Jetlag is notoriously worse travelling east to west. Ive worked all over asia (8 hour time difference as opposed to 12) and never had a problem coming back but going was horrific. A couple of days will see them right.

Tough to pick a side, what do you do about Carlos, Griffin has played well, don't like carrying a back on the bench.

Griffin has improved but hes still the worst of the three centres at the club, Tui and Conner everytime

Indeed, "Jet Lag" is a myth created in the 70's so that people who could afford to fly could remind people they'd been somewhere exotic. A bit like how having a tan used to be a status symbol.

They are professional sports people, if Simon Cowell can commute between London and LA weekly then professional atheletes should have no problem.

NFL sides travel similar distances through different timezones weekly.

I am quite convinced that NFL teams most certainly do not travel circa 11,000 miles on a weekly basis and will only cover a maximum of 3 times zones.

Simon Cowell has to simply sit somewhere and listen to some music. Hardly a comparison to someone who is expected to be in the peak of physical condition.

Try telling that to my inner ear which at the minute is giving me the most horrendous dizziness!!
