I decided to get a reserved seat this year but I don't really like the seat. If I renew early, can I go back and change my seat once the seat deadline has passed?

We got the same seats we've always sat in when South went reserved this year. Unfortunately a complete AH got the seat a row behind and a few away. He spends all game throwing pretty horrific abuse at the referees (like the ref can hear him - he's 26 rows up) and shouting the same damn boring stuff all the time. He knows all of the words and isn't afraid to use them, particularly **that** word.
Can you change your seat after the season starts as I don't want to be putting up with him again for another year?

| There's usually a day allocated for seat swaps, straight after the deadline for passholder renewals.

| East Stand unreserved Sold Out (for now, they will put any unclaimed Passholder seats on sale after the deadline, and block W10 in the family zone about to sell out. Looks like we are off to a strong start with sales.

| The club need to get with the times
I rang club today to set up direct debit using the hot line and got told I would have to print off my application form then sign it and pop it the post to be there for Saturday, I can't email it or scan it computer says no!!!! They need a paper copy? why can't they set it up on the website ? Like I can for my car tax or sky subscription not everyone who's a member lives in hull and can just pop into the shop at their leisure computer says no!
Wonder if Leeds or wigan supporters have this problem we do seem lax when it comes to things like this I am sure I read that at one point you would be able to renew your membership and pass via the hull Fc shop tab?

| They do seem lacking in the technology.
This is something the Club needs to improve on .
I went in yesterday to renew 3 passes . I had them with me , but not the forms . I had to fill out 3 new forms for the person in the shop to input the details in a computer .
All very long winded in this day and age !!

We all received renewal forms pre-populated with existing our membership details and at the top it said How to buy - Please present this form and relevant ID at the Hull FC Retail Stores and pay at the counter.

About £3/£4 off full match day prices, need to go to 8-9 games to pay for itself (even with the £5 off a club shirt), I never really got to use the 'club Hull' discount card nor get to other events so unless they're buying the FC live as well for which you get it half price if bought with the membership, then they're not saving anything, losing out in fact over just paying full price if only getting to 6-7 matches.

Thanks, fixtures out today so that will determine if it's worth it or not for him.

they said on Facebook that 20% of sales are to new passholders, can't see many not renewing (only a few for personal reasons) so it's looking like we will be 10-20% up by the end which would be great progress.

Hope you are right on that if we can push 10k passes again that would be great which after winning two challenge cups back to back the club fully deserves it.

| £250 for a season ticket doesn't make a dent in a trip to Australia though so I cant see those that are going not renewing for that reason.
I still think not having the whole of the East stand for home supporters and Friday night games is having an impact on attendances, not hugely for the former but the latter more so.
Took nephew, mater and brother to a game last year and there were supposedly no seats left together either reserved/unreserved in East, bought 3 in East and one in South, turned out there was space after-all so I casually walked into East to sit with them but some families who want to go on the odd occasion will be put off with not being able to get into East. I realise they have the family section in West corner but it really isn't the same atmosphere at all.
As for the Friday/Sunday thing, I hear so many fans not just out of town but residing in Hull wanting to go back to Sunday games, turning up on a Thursday/Friday night in the middle of winter (yes Feb/March is still winter in Hull) is really not pleasant at all, at least with an afternoon game the temperatures will be higher plus the bonus of not being tight for fans who work certain hours that make it difficult to attend.
For us out of towners it's a real drag, I end up just making it a 3-4 day visit for the 6-7 home games I get to.
Is there no chance of changing, could the club poll the fans?

| We switched to mainly Sunday games in 2012 and 9 out of the 13 attendances dropped from the previous season. Sunday games will not give a boost to attendances. People have other things to do on a Sunday especially in summer.
A poll would be pointless as there wouldn't be an overwhelming preference either way, the club will never please everyone. Attendances have risen for each of the last two seasons so I'd leave things as they are.

If everyone had to switch to Sunday other than the contracted Sky Thurs/Friday games then in my opinion gates would increase.
It would also encourage more fans to travel to away games rather than having to endure traffic delays on the motorways.

I tend to agree. If all games were sunday except TV matches I think attendances would grow.
That said, Friday nights do allow people to have family time on a sunday (which from a personal perspective allows me to have a few jars on a Friday night )

| The club prefers Friday over Sunday for corporate sales. It's hard to get corporate guests interested in Sunday matches.

After the sh ite that Agar had served up it's no wonder the fans stayed away the following season,
But here is a comparison, and you reckon even after a CC win and our best season in 30+ years Fridays aren't having a detrimental effect?
2017 first, 2012 second.
Catalans 13,554 (1st H game +£2.50 ticket giveaway, back of winning CC) v 10,765
Saints 11,587 v 11,727
Widnes 10,814 v 10,705
Salford 11,016 v 10,776
Leeds 15,487 (Easter Friday instead of the derby match) v 11,667 (Sat)
Cas 12,801 (high flying Cas) v 11,607
Warry 10,734 v 12,710 (1st H game of season)
Leigh 10,222 v 10,096 (London)
Wigan 10,333 v 11,549
Wakey 10,895 v 11,105
Hudds 11.467 v 11,142
Avg 11,719 v 11,259
Given the circumstances for the start of the 2012 season to where we were at the start of the 2017 season that is a fairly shocking set of attendance figures given we supposedly sold a record number of season tickets.

Dont believe that at all.Its all about marketing and the product.
Get the product right then the marketing becomes easier.
In any case i believe the extra away fans from most clubs coming over for Sunday games would easily pay for any loss of corporate revenue.
Lets get back to Sunday matches, ditch Thursday night sky matches when re negotiating TV rights and offer the BBC/ITV the chance to air a Sunday afternoon game nationally at 18.00 (not live) when there is nothing else on TV and people might tune in
