We got ours this afternoon.

7 season ticket holders between us and an additional 14 tickets to give to whoever wants to come. Great value.


We all know people who might have turned away from FC/RL in general in recent years, well let's get stuck into them and bring them along to this one, show them what they're missing.

The Club are looking to top last seasons' opening attendance against Salford 12265 and the attendances in the three games against Catalan in 2016, 11374 (League) 9639 (Cup Quarter Final) and 10494 (Super 8s).

Regardless of attendance, get their in good time. Hundreds queuing outside tonight for City's game missed the start reportedly due to turnstile issues, as there were when they played Newcastle and Arsenal.

didnt help when some fans thought it was an 8pm kick off too! most important game this season so far and home fans dont even know what time kick off was

While the turnstyles arent perfect (still dont see what the SMC have gained over manned turnstyles as they still have just as many stewards stood about sorting out problems, and have paid to replace the scanners twice) and there was an accident on the A63...fans really have got to start turning up earlier, theres thousands who still think you can stroll up 5mins before kickoff and get straight in.

It's a three way responsibility, the fans to get there early enough, the SMC to improve DRAMATICALLY the catering and the club(s) to put something on to entertain, especially in a freezing stadium on a freezing night!

We (FC) should be pressuring the council, why is it (so far) no City of Culture event has happened at the KC and surrounds, why are the Allams ruining the KC....

To what level? My perception of the catering at the KCOM is that it's not much different to other stadia - hot drinks, soft drinks, alcohol, pies, snacks. What are the DRAMATIC gaps to, say, Saints or Warrington? Am I missing something?

Indeed the catering very much matches the standards found in stadiums throughout Britain and indeed ones I've visited overseas. Overpriced and something to avoid.

Wish we could get more like the USA and Canada, our stadium catering makes motorway services look gourmet!

Just have food and some drinks/beers before you arrive at the KC. There's no obligation to buy food or drink whilst at the game or hand over any of your hard-earned to Allam.

The turnstile situation is a joke. After their install it was taking up to 20minutes+ queuing last season. The major flaw in their design is that they're outside on the wall, instead of next to the turnstile itself, so per person it takes miles longer than it did. Multiply that up by hundreds/thousands of people and its no wonder it takes ages to get people in.

I want a fair bit of Premier League football, 50-60k attendances and I'm never waiting longer in a queue to get in than 2/3 minutes.

Fans shouldn't have to 'get there early', they should be able to arrive at whatever time they want with an expectation of a small wait. This issue is firmly at the SMC/Allam's door and their crap scanning system, not the fans

But that's essentially the same as other SL offers? I'll check out the offering at Salford and rate the gaps to the KCOM offer later.

10,000 tickets sold with over three weeks still to go and obviously minimal away support. Decent start that.
