| Wont be as many as the 14,716 there for our last semi.
Yeamo and Washy both started, the only two remainers.

| In 2008 I queued all night as radio said they was expecting a lot of people to do it. There was about 8 in total. This time I didn't bother as I knew it wouldn't sell out, I only got them Monday. So I'm hoping a few others have a similar idea.

| I like keepmoat its a tidy tight little stadium and one we are use to and had success on, think it will be a tough first 20 as all semi finals are but expect us to overpower Wigan in the last 20 of each half our interchange bench is the difference, when your changing Ellis and bringing Frank on Taylor for Bowden Washy for mini and Manu Green for Watts its some power and its relenting, especially in the second half when Ellis comes back with Taylor like fresh starters that's what creates the space for strike players like Mini, Shaul, Talona, and Michaels 24 10 to hull fc syneeeeeeeddddd

Was a rumour going around last Friday that we (Wigan) had only sold 800 - 1000 . Pretty poor if correct . A mail shot was sent out to Wigan fans to boost numbers .
See you Friday night ,
Regards , EW

| Friday night game hasnt helped with the travel for Wigan, the M62 is bad on a friday night, but its very poor how badly Challenge Cup semi finals are attended these days, this game should be a good 20k+ with the fanbases Hull and Wigan have. Instead the games seem to get smaller every year in smaller grounds.

| If the rumour of 800-1000 is accurate then that is truly embarrassing. I remember Hull taking 2500 to Knowsley Road a few years back (the game with the fog) - on a Friday night and that was a league game

One of the best atmospheres i have been in at an away game!
"What the f*** is going on"
"We can't see a f***ing thing!"
I remember my mate saying that he was at the scoreboard end and he heard a huge roar from the Hull fans, and then Tom Briscoe emerged out of the fog scoring a full length of the field try!

The fog game at Knowsley Rd was a Saturday tea time game.
That said, in 2006 we took a right mob with us there in the 27-26 Cooke drop goal game and that was a Thursday night game.

It wasn't, it was a Friday night game, first game of the season on SKY

Certainly was, didn't Briscoe score his try with only one boot on? Great atmosphere that night, match was delayed if memory serves. Remember taunting the Saints fans with "There's only one Shaun Long...."

No, it really was on a Saturday.
First game of the season on Sky is always the defending champions.
The game sticks out in my memory as I had been to the 1pm kick off Liverpool / Everton derby earlier that day, then I went to Knowsley Rd to see Long, O'Meley and Fitzgibbon make their debuts.

Going west to east is not that bad on a friday done it loads of times through work. PLus the kids are off school so the roads are better. The fact is that to Wigan and their fans, a semi is not really that big a deal as they are used to them. Clearly work, family, sky, money all mitigating factors also
