| Long 9 day turnaround for Cas and i guess everyone will want to play if fit.
Thinking ahead to C/C against Catalan if you were the coach would you rotate some of the first team squad for the Cas game?

Team spirit as it is, unless it's a serious knock, can you see anyone wanting to be rested? As you say 9 day turn around, as good as a rest, when you look back at the recent schedule. Sat where FC are, every week is a high pressure game now and it's a learning curve, in how to play through it, coming towards the split plus CC quarter around the corner. Onwards and upwards.

I would rest Taylor. I think he has played just about every game and having a week off will do him good for later on in the season. Apart from Houghton the rest of the forwards have missed the occasional game through injury or suspension.

| I would defo rest Ellis, Mini and Taylor ensuring them three are revved up and guaranteed to face Les Cats.
We could still beat Cas without them but if any miss the Cats game its a major blow.

| Nope. Keep a winning formula. If you tinker, you lose. We have the luxury of unchanged sides again, keep that momentum and the coaching is easier - just work on ball control.

Hope nobody condemns the coach then if we lose our captain and best prop for what is(IMO) a more important match.

| difficult situation as we rest a few and lose and then lose the cup game some will say we shouldn't have changed a winning team, play them all and somebody gets injured and then its we should have rested them, win them both and then doesn't matter lol,

So you think we are going to get 2 injuries? That has more chance of happening in the Catalans game with their penchant for attacking the head.
Every game now has an added importance as we strive to keep the top spot. If a team is winning you do NOT change it. We had no weak links in there - our edge defence was spot on, forwards blasted away at them and game management was impreccable. We let in 2 tries, one from a bad error and one from a slow, ponderous kick against the best attack in the game. Yeah, let's change that and run the risk of stopping a juggernaut of momentum.

| Manu has a calf injury so can see him missing the game.
I think both Hadley and Thompson will play at Cas

I reckon at least half the squad will be carrying niggles at this time of the year . I'd rest a couple of the forwards seen as we have good cover there , and no one seems to let us down when they do come in . Keeps them all fresh then and also there all getting game time .

| We are very fortunate to have the choice especially at this stage of the season, we have a very big squad with no massive injuries is it down to our conditioning team, or have we just got some very tough players? When Radders went for a big side some on here said he was trying to duplicate the old Bradford Bulls team, it's paying off now though.

| Really tough decision.
Catalans is out biggest game in three years as I feel we have a real chance in the Cup this year.
To miss out on the top four play offs we'd need to lose five from twelve and that's assuming Saints or Wakefield win all of their final twelve games. On the other hand we need to aim for the top two to get a home play off game.
I think I'd go full strength against Cas and we may get the chance to rotate against Huddersfield.

Ive no idea how many injuries we might get,i would just make sure our best 2 forwards were playing against Catalan.

Sneyd's the bigger worry for me - plenty of cover in the back row. Guess it would be Pryce and Carlos in the halves? Naughton's probably the next choice kicker.

Do we actually have a back up goal kicker in this current first team squad? Anyone know?
Ive seen Naughton kick goals but he is currently out of the team.
Never seen Tuimavave kick goals but wouldnt be surprised if he is our back up

| I'd be tempted to give Manu a rest due to the fact he was limping at the end of the Wire game. We have plenty of cover and strong replacements in Hadley, Washbrook and Thompson also Taylor could perhaps do with a rest but would that be pushing it resting our best prop? Watts, Bowden, Green and Thompson as prop and Minichiello, Ellis, Pritchard, Hadley and Washbrook all covering the back row.

| Barring injuries and knocks play the strongest team possible, there will be a time when we will get injuries or go on a bad run, so need to get as many points as possible, we should now be going for 5/5 and then if we do progress in the cup we have a nice cushion and still a good chance of a top two finish which should know be our aim.

| No game this season is a gimme, you either play the long game and rest players now whilst we are in a relatively/fairly secure position with an eye on reducing chances of late in the season injury/fatigue AND to ensure the back up squad players get some actual game time at the highest level.
Or you try cement the LL trophy, win every game all the way up to and including the GF (which obviously is the ultimate goal CC aside) and hope that any minor injuries/niggles don't turn into something more or that players get burnout and perform worse come the crucial games.
Me, I'd rest players now, not all at once obviously but 2 players against Cas, 2 different players the following week. Trust to the squad players and the confidence within the team as a whole AND your coaching and tactics.

Agree with this Sneyd's a worry had ankle and hamstring knock/strain so I would be tempted to leave him out Sunday, go with Carlos and Pryce in Halves and bring Naughton in on wing to kick goals, rest Manu and bring in Hadley. Leave the rest in
