| I mean obviously you can with how you are playing!
But do you think you will have a decent chance?
I only say this because except the usual suspects of Leeds Saints (both who probably wont be in the playoffs) and Wigan, most teams seem to bottle it around playoff time and take a few years of playoffs to gain the confidence to get the GF
That is why I still have a horrible feeling that wigan will turn in on when it matters
In fairness though Ellis and Pryce have won titles before, (as have some of your aussies I believe?) so you might be able to deal with pressure quite well

| Can we? Yes, of course.
Will we? Not sure. Eighth to Champions is some leap in one season. As you say, experience counts for much come the play offs. There are a lot of twists and turns to come, we have been very fortunate with fitness (although partly down to better conditioning). Last night was the first time in seventeen games that one of Taylor/Houghton/Watts missed a game. Sneyd is another ever present.
Ater the mediocrity of the last nine years or so most of us are enjoying the ride and competing at the top end of the table rather than scraping to make the top eight.

| It'd be tough to win at the first attempt but we have a talented team with a great spirit so I wouldn't bet against us. If our key players are fit for the play offs and we keep playing with this level of confidence then we have a great chance.
The cup will give us an insight into how we handle big games. Tough match against Cats and then a big semifinal will show if we are pretenders or not.

| I don't see us "bottling it," there are plenty in the team that have been there and done that at every level of the game. If we fall short it will either be because someone else plays some great rugby and beats us to it, or because injuries derail us. We shouldn't fear anyone, and we certainly can win it, but any number of things could happen over the coming months.

| Best chance we'll have imo, leeds hudds out of it, st helens not looking much. Us, warr, and cats will never have a better chance. No way the teams ive mentioned will all be as bad in the same season again

| I think we have a decent shot at either CC or GF. Just need to keep the squad fit.

| I think last night we saw the difference when missing Watts.
if we can keep our more important players injury free this team is capable of beating any SL team in any competition.

| Well if it's not going to be our year again then I wouldn't be unhappy if you guys won it, it will be nice just to see another name on the trophy instead of the usual suspects, I honestly believe this is our best chance personally as for me it's best squad we have had overall.

You should definitely be favourites. As you say, would be hugely refreshing to have a change.

This team hasn't been together that long and they haven't won anything together yet. We have some experienced individuals but the biggest game Radford's squad has played together is the magic weekend.
We saw at Wembley last time how overawed a group can be and the inexperience of the coach can't have helped. I wouldn't rule out it happening again should we get to a show.
Then again, a poorly fancied, ragtag bunch at Cardiff showed what can be achieved so I wouldn't bet against us either.

The difference is there is not a team now in Super League that will relish playing or being drawn to play us whether its home or away

| Yes we can! Although I think come the end of the season it'll be Wigan that are the team to beat. Despite them not playing particularly well, they're right up there, and getting all of their big guns back. Just a horrible feeling at the back of my mind that they're going to step it up a few gears.
There's a looooong way to go yet though.

I believe we missed Pryce more than Watts although it was the right game to let Tuimivave start in the halves. I expect Pryce to return for Warrington.

| We have a one in four chance think all the teams are close, Wigan and Warrington have the experience but also the pressure and expectation. Massive test for us over the next three away games if we can win two out of three we will take some stopping IMO.

| Can we win, of course, there's still a mathmatical chance for most teams right now, we obviously have a slight edge but have had some fortune in we have had no real serious injuries nor indeed to our major players, part of that i think is down to the better conditioning the players seem to have this season.
We certainly have the personnel and our attack has being sublime at times, our defence has shown it can be immense but also lacking but if we score more than the opposition that's all we need to do.
I think the game aganist Warrington could be very telling, in a few games we've lapsed in places then brought it back, play as we did in the first half against Widnes and that spell against Saints plus a few other games and Warrington are likely to score plenty. When we are going great we are every bit the equal of Cats/Warrington so we just need to cut down the switching off periods.
I don't think the lack of experience in a final makes the difference, either the players are switched on, fit and ready to execute as per a normal game and the coach has done their job to instill what he requires from his players or not, it's that simple in my honest opinion. The arena should have no effect at all in game play if the combatants are prepared correctly.

This.
Going away to Warrington is never going to be a gimme. If they performs well and we perform well then the fans are in for a treat. If we are in anyway off our game and they are not, we will probably lose. No shame in that at HJ.
