Since massive underdogs Hull FC beat Widnes in the Premiership Final at Old Trafford 14-4.

Very surprised this hasn't been done yet so I'll start it...what are your memories of that day?

I was in a group who were pretty much last in the ground and we sang Old Faithful with the players before they went off. Great day

Don't think I wasn't cursing when I popped out of that wound and realised, god I was so annoyed when I was 1 minute old! Still grates on me!

Remember Brendan Hill playing in the 2nd division game that was the curtain raiser. What a unit.

From what i remember it was Entat's last game for us. And I also seem to think rumours were going around that Offiah had signed for Wigan.

I didnt see a game at all in 1991, I didn't even see the game on tv nor in fact for years after.
I read the HDM when I next came up to Hull after getting the result from my mum, other things were far far more important that year so the sport as a whole was rather lost to me at that time.

Envy those fans able to go and to take in the win especially in the circumstances.

My over riding memory is more in relation to the semi against Leeds, the day we destroyed superstar Gallagher. The final was obviously a great occassion beating a star packed Widnes side. That joy of finally winning the Premiership after years of trying in the 80s. But then the sadness of seeing that great side picked off one by one and a good thing being allowed to wither and die. The story of Hull FC's history (certainly since 76 when I first went). Lets hope the current crop can maintain their form and stay together and build some success for a few years.

Over riding memory of that day was the feeling that , at any time, Widnes would come back, with a blitz from Offiah or Tait or their other star players. They didn't of course and Karl Harrison, Andy Dannatt and Lee Jackson were immense that day, as was Brad Webb, who tracked Offiah all over the park, then Gary Nolan stuck out his arm for an impossible try and we all went beserk. Third greatest rugby day out for me after Cardiff and Elland Road replay.

I was a courier on one of the club buses that day. Not a drop touched my lips pre or during game yet I have never been so drunk as I was at the final hooter. I can barely remember getting back to the bus other than dancing along some tramlines??

We got back to the ground and went in the supporters' club to re-watch the game and got absolutely plastered. The grannies playing bingo weren't overly impressed.

Was a great day and we can only dream about what could have been had we kept that side together.

Moving around the Stretford End without my feet touching the terracing and Gary Nolan's arm appearing from nowhere and putting the ball over the line.

I was on duty in the fire brigade and it was impossible to get the day off. Then 10 minutes before kickoff we got turned out to a raging inferno and missed the game completely. Gutted, as was the building we went to.

I was 13, it was one of the best days ever remember Halifax & Salford fans scrapping. watched the game over & over when we got home me & my mates acted out the Eastwood inside then outside run all the time! It was ace been that age. Ha

"Up the Cream" has a 25 year special out now. Very good read. As for me, went on a proper trip. 8-00 am pick up, beer. 9-30 breakfast in pub in Huddersfield, whisky with cornflakes, beer. Onward journey, beer. At the ground, beer and watched through glazed eyes, euphoria. Watched the game 2 days later, sober, euphoria. Much older, so er and wiser now
