Bit of a shame if the game is off, was looking forward to it but cleaning up after the flooding is obviously more important. Hope everyone is alright in York!

Where are York playing there home games at the moment?

Bootham Crescent this year I think.

bootham crescent is a little bit further away from both rivers and should escape the worst of the flooding. however i believe the last york city game was postponed, so signs are the pitch might not hold up too well. any more significant rain would probabaly see it postponed

How many of us are planning on going anyway? I am for one now that it is at the football ground, don't drive so could never really get out to the other place in previous years.

Will just add that it is supposed to be raining all day Saturday and Sunday in York so will be fun on the terraces!

sure bootham crescent has 3 sides under cover?

game may go ahead but finding a route if roads are closed around the ground and upto york itself maybe the bigger problem

I'm a driving instructor and the difference today from Sunday is unbelievable. All the roads we use were fine. If it weren't for the obvious tide marks and sandbags about you would think nothing of it.

Interesting looking squad, quite tempted to go now if it's on.

The one thing that jumps out at me from looking at that squad is that it appears Radford has pencilled in Logan as one of his first choice centres.

Given him great raps in terms of potential, skill, pace, footwork etc. Looks to have had a good pre season in the gym and added some physicality. Hope he gets loads of game time this year.

It's a few days off yet so conditions hopefully improve I myself fancy supporting the york local businesses in their tough times and looking forward to a game in york whatever the squad to break the long stretch without a game and few beers etc in the town pre and post match will finish the festive season off nicely

You can tell that by a squad for a friendly against York....wow, I salute you.

Every player that I would describe as being a fringe player is in the squad. There is nobody in the squad that is a nailed on starter. Unless he has a knock I would say the fact he isn't selected tells you that Radford sees him as a starter.
