I am pretty surprised to note just how many memberships we have sold with still 100 days to go to the first game and over two months to the actual discount deadline. We have sold over 3500 which although containing a few of the none ticket memberships will no doubt be mostly season ticket renewals. Quite amazing really after what went before and so many of us being disenchanted after last year. With 4 days to the first deadline we could well be up to the next thousand milestone by then which is good going really. Wilf, you're confusing memberships with season passes, ALL membership sales are non match ticket based.
This just states that 3500 people have bought the £45/£35 membership passes and in no way relates to season pass sales.
As I said in another thread it will be interesting to see if/when the club release pass sales figures.

You're wrong. There are two types of membership - season pass membership and general membership.

The 3,500 sold will be a combined figure for both.

Doesn't take long for some to pour cold water on promising news.

I asked this afternoon and the vast majority (Pearson quoted 3200 last night) are memberships through buying a season ticket in fact everyone I saw today was renewing seasons.

Great news! As ive said before, ive got a pass for the first time in years, couldn't because of working evenings but I'm just gonna skip out of work early next year lol

Encouraging start to the sales. Most people I know tend to leave it a while to but their pass so hopefully we should continue to see people renew and hopefully new supporters or those who have not bought for a while will return.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and posting for the first time. I have been a supporter of hull since I was about 10 so around 18 years. While I was young my season passes where always bought for me for Christmas. Iv seen the dark times of petition signing to keep our great club alive. Iv seen better times and a memorable game when playing new Zealand at the boulevard. But as time passes and I started family of my own, went through a couple of tough years through redundancy unfortunately things like season passes had to go. Now back on track financially I'm over the moon as my wife has just bought me a new pass for 2016. The 1st time I'm a pass holder for over 10 years. What's makes it more special is iv bought one for my 8 year old son to enjoy in with. The signings are the most exciting for years and I think Carlos tuimavave will be a real gem. After being away for so long other then the odd games I'm just excited to get back watching the black and whites. Keep the faith.

No matter what abuse you want to throw at me I'm stating facts from the club, the new memberships are NOT season pass sales no matter how you like to interpret it.
