| Apparently has resigned for next season. Just a rumor tweeted by HFC_News and they are usually pretty good with stuff so time will tell.

| Some of the fans overreaction on twitter is way over the top, you would think we had signed ben cockayne.
Wasn't convinced when first heard the rumour, but have come around to the idea, cheap, solid squad player who will give 100%
Been decent for Wakey this year and big improvement on Howarth.

| I always rated him as a player. If every one is fit he gets no wear near are back row, but like said previously a solid squad player that will do a job if needed.

| Washbrook is 11th in the comp for tackles with 96% success. 30 tackle busts and 8 clean breaks in a poor side continually on the back foot. Decent average gain for a workhorse. Homegrown, cheap, experienced, utility. Will be down the pecking order and likely our lowest profile signing. People need to relax.

Indeed, like its my opinion that Ellis and Mini have scored a sack load and Ellis got assist of the season on thursday

He'll be your Yeaman next year.
Why are we wasting valuable cap on him? Its not like the cap has gone up by £2mill so we can have anyone. I just dont think we should commit to "cheap" contracts too early, might stop us getting a really good player (on top of the Marquee player, unless Washy is the said player)

whats that got to do with westy or washy. just think put washy in they with them to, and you wouldnt notice much difference westy been out, and i think washy would chip in with more tries. Its a decent siging, hes a hull lad, honestly can not see any problems, not going to excite alot of people, but so what, not every signing will. Thats what the marquee signing is for

Jon Wilkin is a Hull lad and would be a better signing.
Ryan Hampshire was on our books, if Shaul and Rakin go then we'll need a FB

The need to balance quality with experienced quantity I'd have thought.

The signings are done I'd imagine. Cheap squad player always useful to any team. Key word being SQUAD. Leeds had many average players during years of success. All about balance

| Wouldn't have a problem with Washbrook as a squad player.
Please not a stand in half back, though.

This. The only problem with Washbrook (and also Tommy Lee) was the club would play a daft game of bulking then up to play Loose and Hooker respectively and then moving them back to the halves to solve yet another half back crisis and then wondered why it didn't work!

| I'm struggling to understand this signing. What does Washbrook add to the squad. He wasn't good enough when he left and he won't improve the squad now. It's all very well saying he will only be back up and will be cheap but what message does this send to our under 19's?
We have plenty of back row forwards and are supposed to be bringing in an NRL forward too so if we are signing Washbrook does that mean someone is leaving?

| If we're bringing in a backrower from the NRL, I don't really see the need for another unless we're losing someone. Even moving Ellis up to prop would leave Minichiello, Westerman, Whiting, Thompson, Hadley, Turgut, Abdull and the new signing as back row options. Do we need 8 players for typically 4 places? I think a prop would be more useful if Paleaaesina leaves, personally.

Finally someone with sense!
If Washbrook keeps Abdull Turgot etc out of the team its a waste of a signing.
Just like when LR promised us Howath was back up and would never play, then started at 13 infront of 3 youngsters.
You dont see Leeds do that with their "squad players"
