Set off like a train, 16-0 early on. Penalties hurt us resulting in their scores. Abdull and Naughton impressing so far.

Abdull in. Lovely try, through 5 pairs of hands.

Donny in. Knock on by one of our youngsters turning over possession on our line. 28-16 to us.

Don't know how strong this Donny team is but if it's anywhere near full strength then this is an impressive score line. It's a very young team we've got out.

Good individual try for Donny. Academy players starting to tire now. 28-22 to us.

Totally agree......I wonderd why he put all the young kids out vDonny,who I thought would be stronger than york but could have been a good ploy to keep the kids together

Just read the report for the 1st game and sounds as though Naughton had a blinder.

Of all our new signings he's actually the one I'm most excited by. It's just a shame that we are unlikely to be able to accommodate both him and Shaul in the same team.

Is he primarily a FB ?.......Shaul will have to play well but it sounded as though he joined the line better and linked up well,set a try up,,be interesting to see what his defence is like.
