16 balls with individual numbers drawn out is a random event yes

however, the individual numbers corresponded to a fixture and that was determined by order of schedule for the weekend. Salford had ball 1, if we had won then we would have been ball 1 and be at home to Widnes,

In effect the draw was the winner of game"x" will play the winner of game "y" etc

No it wasn't. If the draw had taken place before the fourth round games had taken place then you could say we would have played a certain team but it wasn't.

Not that it really matters, of course.

But the draw was done after the fouth round matches. It was "Salford" in the hat not "Hull or Salford".

It's like saying if Catalans had beaten us in the QF last year they would've played Warrington in the Semi.
