If Gentle goes.....Who do we go for? For me,it has to be a experienced head coach,easier said than done but need someone to come in,motivate and drop players who arent performing.so who is available or who could we poach?

We need a proven experienced coach, who can re-educate players in the basics of RL.

Wane, Paul Anderson & Brian McDermott all took over from strong foundations left by their predecessors.

its been 6/7 long years since we were half-decent, it is too big of a job for an untested coach. We've tried and failed with Sharp, Agar & now Gentle, and you can even argue that Kear is better as an assistant than a head coach. Time to stop gambling on assistants and bring in some quality.

Same Here ! , But I'd love to know how a new coach could get this rabble to catch & pass because it looks beyond the lot of them .

At least,we'd be able to catch & pass,and attack as a team.

He's not the answer to all our problems,but at least we'd be making positive strides forward.

He's won nothing. He was so well thought of in the NRL that he's now coaching the US. A couple of seasons in, there'll be calls for his head amidst claims that we should never have brought a coach in with such a poor record of winning trophies.

But he'd get us up there with more than a chance of doing so !.

If he's that good at getting teams in with a chance of winning trophies he'd have won some by now.

I think the assistant bit is relevant, Sharp, Agar & Gentle clearly know a lot about the game, and must be good at some parts of the coaching or they wouldn't have got where they where in the game...but all 3 seem to lack that ruthless streak and desire to win that separates an assistant coach with a top head coach IMO
