Dont know if they are carrying knocks or just being rested. Some Wigan fans concerned at the frequent changes of the side, stopping them building some momentum.

Rested 4/5 against kr . 3 out this week and would be suprised to see maybe anothet 3/4 next week (pos Green, mcillorum being 2 of them) . Dont blame them either as I wish we were in the position to rest a few in the next 2 games

I just wonder what that does to the fluidity of the team. They wont have played their 1st choice side for weeks, which could benefit us

They face a tough match against the Giants. To play a weakened team risks a defeat which would be damaging to morale. I would have expected them to put out a strong team for this one.

a Hudds win would be good for us, as they may not then be able to rish taking a weaker team to Catalans for a game they will need to get 2 points from

wigan are not bothered about the league leaders shield,
They want the grand final and the challange cup,
they will still finish second in the league to ensure a home play off route through to the final at old trafford after the 1st round if they do finish second.

Think SOL is injured? Definately left the field during the first half on Friday. Smith might have a possible muscle strain and rested? They rested against KR for a reason, as it was likely they'd get away with it, would be daft against Hudds, lose and league leaders shield is done.

Cant see Tomkins being risked next week against Cats. He won't have played much rugby going into the final if not.

I thought Hudds were really dominant second half.

Hudds deserved to win, but that call was a shocker. I also thought that Green's no try should have been a penalty for ball-stripping, personally.

Cannot read anything in to tonight's result. Wigan will be a completely different proposition with Tomkins, Smith and O'Loughlin.

I'd be delighted to see Lauaki play at Wembley. Should take about 5 minutes to get him sent off.

Need to deal with the double second man plays that they use almost exclusively to get the overlaps. If we can defend those well enough we're in with a shout.

We've shown this year that, when we're on our game, our sliding defence, decision making and one on one defending is excellent. It will win us the cup.

It's in the rule book No Wigan player can be sent off or banned for late tackles or Shoulder charges.

If the Catalan player got 3 games for his shoulder charge ,then surely lauaki should also get 3 or it stinks of favouritism .
