After the Good Friday debacle I had a few doubts but not now, he is doing a fantastic job. Look at the team tonight, we had Green, Bowden, Lineham, And Crooks playing, none of them looked out of place. Who would have thought that at the start of the season we could have gone to Warrington with several youngsters in the team and turn them over. The future is looking really bright.

Got to take my hat off to the guy. Weve really got it together now and part from a couple of periods where we seem to have a sleepy moment we was great tonight and full credit to Gentle.

Wouldn't go so far as to say I doubted him, but I did think questions needed to be asked during the run of games culminating in the derby. He's answered them and seems to have improved our attitude. Maybe the humiliation was a painful lesson we needed.

Think the derby was a turning point for him individually. I'm sure he realises he made a mistake that day.
The massive thing for me is that in the space of 18 months, we now have products of the youth academy as fully fledged first team members who don't look out of place.
That's more exciting to me, than any signing we have made.

The rugby is fast becoming a pleasure to watch again under Gentle . Half's are fit and in form with Miller on the way , Defence is starting to hurt teams , Exiting threequarters with genuine pace and age on their side . Promising Forwards coming through also . Happy days !
