I find £16 for a friendly with Rovers a disgraceful price! especially in this economic climate.

Will probably be a fair few there. Means lots of staff, lots of utility bills etc. Which are all expensive now. Days of 10quid tickets are gone. Leeds v wakey on boxing day are 20quid a ticket!!!

Surely the economic climate means that things are harder for the club too...

I know, lets do a Bradford and offer non-profit raising prices on tickets, I cant see how that could possibly go wrong

Its not Hull versus Rovers in a 'do or die' derby match though is it, its a pre-season work-out to get the players match fit. Don't believe the marketing hype.

I agree with UllFC - £16 is expensive for a trial game.

Having said that, Leeds are charging £20 to stand and upto £25 for seats for their Boxing Day game against Wakefield.

Tickets for Widnes v Warrington also on Boxing Day are just £12 for adults (£6 juniors) in advance which is far more reasonable.

Hull kr v Wigan friendly is £10

£16 for a friendly is too much. I doubt very much that I'll go to both the Cas and Rovers games.

The difference now is the money that is spent on tickets for this game will be put back into the club, everyone knows even in a friendly it's nice to get one over our poor neighbours

its a fair price in these times - york for example will probably charge £12 to watch them take on a FC u20s team in a poor stadium

I refuse to go to friendly derby games, four derbies a season is starting to take the novelty off it.

So with 10 interchanges available during a super league game then this couldn't feasibly happen every game could it??

Disgraceful is a tad harsh. It's odd that many people on here are either on empty or overflowing, never half full or half empty.

There needs to be some reality checks with a few people. SL clubs are guaranteed just 13 home games to generate income from. I have lost count of the number of posters on here who have a dig at football yet football fans are fully prepared to travel the length of the country to see their team play. I wish there were more RL fans with the same attitude

Absolutely. Add that to the fans of the top teams travelling all over Europe fairly regularly!!

Like many others I think 4 derbies a year is overkill, but if it's the best moneyspinner for us, that's fine. Frankly I'm so looking forward to seeing our new signings I'd go regardless, but Rovers remains the biggest draw, so it makes sense. £16 for covered seating is fine IMO.
