Tomorrows news today. Hull FC coach Peter Gentle has signed a one year extension to his contract at the KC, now runs until 2015

Excellent news, he's done a massive job turning our squad around just from the start of this season, can't wait to see what he can do once he gets rid of the dead wood and brings in those he wants, from what i've seen so far he is definitely the man to take us into top 4 and get us challenging for trophies!!

Bit surprised tbh - seeing that he already had 2 years to go, might have waited to see how he goes in the play-offs and with his "own" team. Good to see that AP clearly believes he's the man to push us up the table though.

does this count on the list of the so called 8-10 signings???

Pearson said at todays player of the year awards that he was not satisfied in fifth or sixth and would not rest in his efforts at the Club till we were top four and winning trophies and that he is confident that Gentle is the man to take us there. Gentle said that he was really happy in the City and with the Club and the squad he was putting together.

Good news stability of the coach is helpful when signing players and he's done a good job this year. Deserved extension.

Fantastic news. Hope he can guide us to (at least) a win in the play-offs but the improvement on the pitch this season has been obvious and we actually appear to have tactics going into games.

Next year with more of his own players and more expectation placed on him we will find out much more about PG. we need to be aiming top 4 IMO but with Wigan, Wire, Sts, Cats, Leeds et al it will be far from easy but we are capable with a better injury run.
