Disappointed, think he's finally showing the potential that was talked about when we signed him, now we've got a decent coaching team on board. Centre's a position we've struggled in over recent years, so it's a let down to lose a player who now looks the part to a team in a similar position to us. Is Arundel any good?

I would be tempted to give Crooks more game time ahead of Turner, if this is true. Not to cut our noses of to spite our face or anything, but would be best for us longer term.

Disappointing but no disaster.

Arundel is a couple of years younger, in the Knights squad and by all accounts is keen to play for Hull FC.

We would have gladly let him go last year as he was rubbish, 10 good games and he's a world beater. He has potential to be a good player but we have Crooks coming through and if true Arundel then we have more potential.

I feel disappointed he's signed for saints and slightly let down. I was hoping the opportunity and faith placed in him by gentle would have been enough for him to stay and be part of the revolution.
Obviously all this i'll sign when I'm ready was just bull and bollox as he would have been in negotiations with saints already.

Who is this we you speak of? He was fecked about by Agar but when given an opportunity towards the end of the season he was our best try scorer and played well. He's obviously continued that form and I would have signed him up last season it was obvious his potential was there.

If he's contracted for 2012 then if he's part of our best 17 he should play, we don't want to develop players for saints but were ok to do it for Wigan?

He'll probably get dropped anyway now our 2 first choice centres are fit

We will have a better centre pairing next season than we have this season. Of that I have no doubt.

Exactly I've been saying this for a long time. I'd have no problem with most of the squad leaving, as they just havn't been good enough. With Manu's, Moa's, Turner's, Ogre's, Martin's and McKinnon's wages that should be a decent amount to bring in a centre, a six and a couple of props

well no one told Gentle n co that making Hull FC great again would be easy. lots of work to be done in the tranfer market for 2013, but if Geatle is anywhere near as good at recruiting as he is coaching then we have nothing to worry about, but first things first. there is still lots to play for this season. i wanna take more points off the big teams n let the superleague know that Hull FC are no longer the push overs they have been.

He's seen out his contract,he wants to move closer to home,so i don't see what anyones problem is. We should pick our strongest available team each week and move on. People stating he's only played a few good games should look at our previous coaching team rather than Jordan,it's not as if he hasn't tried. It really does go to show how poor Agar was,Gentle's done more for his game in 4 months than Agar could do in 2 years. Good signing for Saints if his development continues (which is far from guaranteed).
