Yes we are paying rent. I wish they had done it with Knowlsley Road, The Boulevard (although KC is cracking stadium) and even The Willows. But in all fairness all your stadiums are cracking and ours isn't brilliant but it is steeped in history. I'm not here to gloat or owt or rub it in but the RFL buying Odsal can only be good for the sport.

The cost to redevelop Odsal is far too high. It will never happen. If this is a temporary tactic to stop Bradford going bust and the intention is to manage a transition to a new Wire type ground at some point then fine but if it is genuinely an attempt to keep Odsal because of it's history etc then that is crazy. It's a terrible place and an embarrassment to RL and it's been even more embarrassing over the last few years hearing Sky and the RFL bigging it up as if it's some sort of RL Mecca and an example to follow.

Before anyone starts climbing onto any moral high ground, just remember that the RFL also invested in our club at a time that we needed it.

What utter bullshine, the RFL shouldn't be buying any clubs ground, also ineterested to know how this will work if Bradford were to fail in a franchise bid.

total RFL farce, if I were a Bulls fan I would be embarassed, worse than Wakey and Cas for not keeping promises to develop.

If you read the report, as I did, then it doesn't appear that this is any long-term investment, more a case of keeping vulture developers away. As I said before, we're the last that should be dictating what the RFL can and cannot invest THEIR money in.

The RFL have stepped in to help Bradford because they are a big club with a large fanbase. The RFL haven't stepped in to help Wakefield, Cas or Rovers, because they are not big clubs and don't have a large fanbase - the competition is no better or worse for their inclusion. Simple, really.

You're off topic, love. We're talking about [ubig[/u clubs and the fully understandable stance of the RFL to support them because of their size and what they bring to the competition. Harsh for those with limited fanbases and balance sheets with large negative liabilities, perhaps, but the RFL has to prioritise and IMO have done so correctly. In 2003 they averaged 15k attendance and already have the ground to house a lot more. Well done to all concerned, a competitive Bradford brings a lot to the competition.

Thats funny, thought Hull FC were a big club, well they usually are my 2nd/3rd team in Super League. But Mrs B has it a competitive Bradford brings a lot. Nearly 20k at home for the derby last season. Average over 14k through the season. Not bad for a club outside the play-offs. Speaking of play-offs I'm sure we have a record of biggest win is it? Refresh my memory.
