Hopefully this isn't the last we see of Fitz. He looked fairly dejected on the sidelines, hopefully we get some good news in the next week

His body's telling him it's had enough IMO.

The time is right to retire (end of the season) but he's got another couple of matches in him. The way he's played since he's come back proves that IMO.

Hope he can get right for a final swansong and not end his career with an injury.

Praying he's fit for the playoffs.

I'd imagine that will be it for him. He looked in some severe pain on the floor, and a pro like him doesn't stay down for the sake of it.

After such an illustrious career, what a place to end it. Really hope we see him again, but think it's unlikely.

You fear the worst when a guy like Fitz stays down but I hope all those football wimps watched as a true giant of a game walked off the pitch in dignity and refused to be stretched off.

I will not be surprised to see him back for the play off game probably against Hudds I expect Leeds to beat them

Fantstic pro no question, but came to England to earn easier money, he may have got a 1 year deal somewhere, maybe, but not on anywhere near the money we offered him.

He would have being torn apart in the NRL this year too slow.

He should have retired last year but money talks so can't blame him for pushing his body to the limit, 2 years in Super League earn decent money be hero worshipped and then go home.

If fit he would have done well in the NRL this season playing as a prop and playing less minutes.

I'm in NZ at the moment and went to watch the Warriors against the Cowboys and if Fitz had played for the Cowboys he would have being lined up by the huge Warriors prop forwards and taken apart

Was a fantastic player but too old and slow nowadays.

I just hope the legends career doesn't end on sour note like that and he makes a speedy recovery

I really hope that Fitz's season (and career) isn't over, he doesn't deserve to hobble around the KC on Friday for his farewell.

One of the best forwards in recent years who always did more than his share,relentless,and a credit to the sport, as a man who looked after himself and a shining example to all youngsters who wish to be a success. Sad end to a great career.!
