We was SH*T once again tonight.

How can some people say unlucky lads, we didnt' deserve that is beyond me. We played a Wigan team that IMHO was easily there for the taking, we gifted them the game, which makes it even a bigger pill to swallow.

Once again our ability to "not" score tries cost us. We have a habbit of scoring the first try playing a move, or what you could call quick hands/expansive rugby league.

But the opposition quickly becomes acustomed to it, they nullify it, and then we have no plan b.

Second phase play was terrible tonight, Manu once again showed his true class, and tbh he deserves to be playing for a bigger, better team, winning silverware, as his effort is second to none.

The referee didn't have the best of games, but the penalty count was in our favour, although wigan YES should have been penalized more times, and they should of been at least 1 if not 2 of the wigan players sent to the BIN.

The reason why we lost the game tonight is the same reason why we have been failing for the past 3 seasons.

1. Too many individual errors (escpecially on the oppositions line)

2. We panic to much, rugby is a sport where you need to relax, be confident and let it flow, panicing/rushing just won't work. We need to be more settled on our attack approach, and certainly have more construction to our attack.

3. We have no second phase, a player makes a break or half break, the player turns his body into a position where he can pass the ball to another team mate and put him into an open space, but nope that does not happen.

4. Tactics, we have none, it's boring one up rugby. ON our day we can turn the style on, but for me there's so much mis-balance in the team, and "average" players, most play/tactics break down.

5. A clueless coach.

6. Poor conditioning

This season is over, I can see us beating Castleford, but cannot see us beating Catalans, or Warrington. So I think we will just miss off on the play-offs.

Even if we did get in the play offs we would just let ourselves down and get hammered/knocked out first round.

Just felt let down again tonight big style. Was sat in the East stand and they was all saying, nothing changes!

Everyone said the problem was higher up than player staff/coaching level, we got rid of the old board of directors, it's obvious it's the coaching staff, with a handful of players. So in my view, nothing will change until Agar and the rest of the coaching staff are relieved of their duties.

Getting a new BOD was never gonna change a thing until the new guy makes some decisions.

True, although you would have expected some kind of "turn around".

Either by a coach looking to keep his job, or players looking to keep their contracts.

Nope I expected nothing, until AP makes some decisions nothing will change. Agar's inabilities had nothing to do with the BOD, he just isn't good enough period!

I don't think we were sh17 tbh . We played to our potential which sadly lacks some way behind Wigan .

When AP starts to make the big decisions, we will start to see improvements. Hopefully, if he doesn't want pass sales to go even further south, he will get rid of Agar and clear out the rest of our failing coaching staff.

A full clean sweep starting with the rabbit in the headlights that is our out-of-his-depth "coach".

Agar doesn't know how to, that's the problem in a nutshell.

dobbo you have too much time on your hands . we were not s--t as you say we just lacked an organiser the same old same old mistakes crept in end off , and why do you assume wigan were there for the taking , me and everyone was expecting a tomkin sorry tonking so was more disappointed when we played to a reasonable standard barring without going into details the usual reasons we all know we lack , but effort wise very good

We played to a standard that was close to our best while Wigan were way off their best. Unfortunately, we are so far behind teams like Wigan that, even under those circumstances, we were never even close to winning the game.

fair do,s i know what your saying wigan were nothing like last week but we had them worried even forcing them taking a goal with 15 to go as we never let them play , maguire was smug on the big screen 1st half but was looking sheepish 2nd half , suppose we never let them play , i know and everyone else does we are way off the standard of clubs like wigan , but we did have them worried although we all knew what the outcome would be just saying we were not s--t as some make out

Well, quite. That is how far we have fallen. The top teams can beat us comfortably at our place whilst playing in second gear.

Can we please close all other threads and just have one called "Agar out" until he has gone? It is getting rather tedious on here.

How about we had no Fitz again ( our leader on the pitch), no Westy(our player of the season for me and of our most creative players) and no Long , our no1 halfback.
More excuses I know, but some pretty valid reasons for not quite being where we need to be against the top teams.
I know most dont want to here it but will have pivots coming out of our ears next year.

We're putting all our hopes for the season into a halfback who's body has given up and a captain who's been subjected to over 12 years of playing in the NRL. Whilst it's unlucky they're both injured, is it really a surprise to anyone? Not me! We lost today because we're good enough, end of!

Look at the players Wigan have who have come through their academy, then look at ours. The last one was houghton, who's questionable at best. We'll never compete with the big clubs until the dross are removed and propper structures are put in place.

Another nearly games for Hull FC, hopefully our new owner will not be as willing to suffer for mediocrity as our previous ones were.

You're playing without Longy, Gleeson and Fitz, three influential players in different ways. O'Meley was one of your problems last night as he has forgotten how to hold on to the ball and that cost you. Tansey was another of your problems - making a long pass two feet from your own line was one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen. But you're just misfiring a bit, you aren't sh*t. Unfortunately, misfire a bit around Wigan and you will pay.

You also need some creativity and organisation at halfback. It's tough to operate with a halfback down.

Willie Manu was immense for you. He was a real joy to watch.

but they dont use injuries as an excuse.
