We've gone from seeing his beardy face everywhere on the website and tuning in weekly for the BS bingo on Airlie Night to hearing absolutely nothing from him IIRC since we turned in a profit. There was something very comforting and familiar with the "don't comment on rumour" and "recruitment is an ongoing process" monologues- like white noise to a baby. Anyone know what's going on - hope he's OK.

I wonder if it's partly to do with him having less to work with. Regardless of what people say, he's been very good at what he's there for; promoting the club, highlighting the positives, and deflecting the negatives where possible. So far he's been able to do it with spin and being flexible with the truth, but this year he doesn't have anything new to spin and has pretty much lied on a couple of occasions. All he has available to him now is either repetition, deluded denial of the situation, or untruths. In the face of that, maybe he doesn't see anything to say that wouldn't just add fuel to disgruntled fans' fire.

Probably not far from the truth. He's done a very good job on the business side of things and there can only be so many shirt launches and fans forums before you get a bit stale. Would be great for us if he got a senior role at Red Hall tbh.

Its quite wierd that this thread has being started especially when I've being told today that the poop is going to hit the fan at Hull sometime during the week. Which in the short term will make fans happy but not in the long term.

Comes from a player at the club, who I won't name due to the industry I work in and data protection act etc.

the only reason we dont hear rule now is airlie night is finished ,he was on that every fortnight.
