Will have to be Obst and Westy in the halves.

Yeah has to be westy and obst now...big loss,hornes hit a good bit of form of late.

2 points on this:
1) Massive credit to Horne for playing so well whilst carrying this injury/condition.
2) Surely there's no impact on FC? After all, Horne is "well past his sell by date" according to many on here.

Horne has been in my top 5 players of the season - starting to hit some real form. Back for the cup final and the play offs though!!

Not the best timing, but thankful we have 3 coming in next season! Can't come quick enough! Sums our half back situation up!

Terrible news. Rich has been in fine form lately.

Every time we seem to be getting back on the rails,something comes along to stuff it up.

Massive loss, he's been great for us this year and we will certainly miss him during this important month. Let's hope Obst is back next week.

Horney has been in much better form recently and was looking back to his best. Bad news but not season ending like suggested above. With Westerman in fine form and look better every game (IMO), Obst hopefully back and Washy putting in a very accomplished performance last night we'll be ok.

Hopefully Westy 6, Obst 7 and Washy playing 13 or a similar role to what Westerman does.

At least were consistent with our new half for next year being injured on the other side of the world.

Not suggesting it is season ending bud,but it is frustrating when a player who is getting back to form gets injured.

I think what's important is that we don't make a big deal out of this. Too many times, when Long was out it was asif we gave up before we even entered the field. Over the last week, I've being pleasantly surprised by the lack of discussion about Obst not playing. Last night we looked sharp in attack without Obst, hopefully it continues with Obst but without Horney.

We've shown we can score 50 without 2 of our 3 first choice halves last night when our attack was as clinical as I've seen it for a while.

Sad loss, Horney starting to hit some form...however I think Westy & Obst will do a good job...
I really like Westy in the h/backs.

Bad news if true. We could really have done with him in the cup game(s)

gutted for horney been really good this year and looked very sharp last night will be a big loss

To be fair he has a broken cheekbone, which isn't the sign of a player with a 'busted' body, just bad luck in a contact sport.

Just lamenting our injuryitus.

Well we was missing 2 halfs last night and didnt do us no harm did it.

where did you hear this then as i cant find any confirmation anywhere i.e. fc website, hdm etc

Was on Humberside this morning. Shame for Horne as he has started to look more and more like his former self.

Sure i`ve just heard Radio Blunderside just said horne is not to have an operation but the club are monitoring his fitness ????????? so i`d say there gonna leave him in the squad until he needs it
