Am I imagining it or has the Cooke report disappeared from the HDM and if so can anyone tell me why. At first I thought Cooke would be very biased to our red and white neighbours but it turned out he wrote some very good articles and I am missing the input he had

It has been in the printed version of the HDM until 2 weeks ago but unfortunately he had a close berevement so I can only assume it has been put on the back burner for now.

Can I ask how anyone has been disrespectful?? Someone simply asked if anyone knew why there had been no article for the past few weeks as they were missing them. Add that to the fact that it isn't common knowledge that Paul's mum has sadly passed away and you have one huge over reaction here.

We all love to have a go at Cookie but we all understand what the lad is going through and no one will disrespect his feelings on here. I'm sure he'll be back in the press when he's mourned his Mum.

don't see why people hate cooke so much he was a class player for us and went to rovers took about 500k from them only performing in the derbys making them look very foolish. as for the mum thing thats awfull my condolences go to his family

Cookey says that Agar is 'one of the best coaches he ever played under'. Bizarre really since he only played under him when he was the assistant coach. I also don't buy all this stuff about the board not backing him. He brought in the likes of O'Meley, Long, Fitzgibbon, Gleeson and was also allowed to pay transfer fees for Westerman, Obst and Tansey. Ask Peter Sharp if he had that kind of backing and four years to try and get the job done!

He also said he never got the backing from the fans!!! We backed him to the hilt for at least 2 and a half seasons, then it was obvious he just was'nt up to the job. Think he is just having a dig and I don't think he likes us finally getting our house in order. To$$er!!

I think he's just upset that were clearly making great strides forward as a club, the man is so bitter its unreal.

Lets put it this way,if "Agar" was a show on Broadway,and the paying public didn`t go to watch it,then it would soon close down.No difference us paying to be entertained at a show or a rugby game.
