Rich and the club have took a lot of grief recently and I cannot say how pleased i am that he can drive home with a huge grin on his face knowing that finally what we have precticed has finally started to work and we looked by FAR the better side today and worthy of another 10 points on top today !!!

Will Sharp... that useless waste of money (as some said) had a awesome show and today we saw just why the club were so keen to get him, well played will!!

Kirk yeaman... many had said last year he was finished and is nothing other than a small 2nd row... eat your words and bow your heads in shame!!

Hame... had his best showing of the season today and looked a class act attracting 3/4 tacklers everytime and quick play the balls opened them up a number of times.

Ewan Dowes.... what a plodder he has been called, numpties who called him that can watch the VT and see today the yeardage and work he put in constantly putting his hand up and didnt take a yard backwards.

but I leave my last comment for Danny washbrook who today was in many opinions the MOTM, his runnig caused them nightmare after nightmare, great passing, great feet and massive tackle count i would guess, proved again today why he is still FC!!

Like i said some time ago, Pro sport is a funny thing that throws up many curve balls and shocks yet today the lads were confident they would turn them over and they certainly did, Rich got the whole thing right from team selection to bench rotation and deserves the plaudits from all concerned, oh and may i say those whom constantly take the rip out of his regional dialect can kiss "us" asses tonight!!!

we are playing some decent footie now, all those "we should get rid of " in some minds are the stand out performers and this is the best FC easter for a lot of years

Sharp,I have stated elswhere I think he is a prospect.
Yeaman,big fan of his,but he has failed to produce the goods in the past,but seems to be reverting to his best.
Dowes,hasn`t for me been pulling many trees up,but couldn`t fault him against Rovers.Don`t know about Wire game as I wasn`t there.
Hame,blows hot and cold for me.
Can`t fault your defending of the club with positive thoughts though.

It has been an incredible East period, the boys & Agar deserve credit for their performances, however it is a little early in the piece to start insinuating people have been wrong in their opinions about Agar and some of the players performances considering before the Easter period we were in 10th place

everyone has an opinion huh??


i know Rich has one tonight!!, so does JR and Kath and that is that Rich Agar is doing a cracking job

Will have done his confidence a world of good and put the [iboo-boys[/i back in their boxes.

Thought Whiting did superb in the Derby but Sharpy outside Gleeson is the future imo.

i think it would be awesome for a young english coach take this club to glory but honestly i dont think rich is the man hes done nothing in 3 years to prove that he is but credit to him and the players for over the easter weekend picking up 2 impressive victories

ICECREAMMAN I don't think it's to many ice creams the problem, probably too many vodka's and red bulls...

We have done well this easter period, but it had to happen!

We have started to get some good results, not only that good performances, not just your usual one man or two man performances but from the team on a whole from 1 to 13, even the subs.

But it's way to early to start the AGAR in, and he's an excellent coach etc.

We have got a long way to go, and a long season. If agar was such a good coach, we would not be in this mess (8th in the table). With the quality of players we have (target and expectations from the fans and board) and basically the size of the club we are on a whole. (including facilities)

Long in and out of the team has not helped, but tbh, accept for the derby, all the other games he played was way below par. Gleeson in the squad is certainly a bonus, and hopefully will tighten up our right hand side, as that's where we have been letting them in.

let's see what happens against Saint Helens, if we beat them on our home turf, i'll start to believe we have turned a corner.

i know but i am just gushing online as i am so proud of them and buzzing beyond belief, like you said the whole squad earned their cash this weekend and the whole B&W army should be very proud of them at present
(have had a couple of VERY large one since too LOL)

Far too early for this thread, yes its been a great easter for FC, and big applause to the players AND Agar, but the team need to be putting in this kind performance week in/week out
Will Sharp-great prospect
Kirk Yeaman-back to his best (or very near, but he has had a couple of poor seasons)
Ewan Dowes-had a great easter period, but has been below average for the a long time, and can he back his easter performance up, with the same for the rest of the season? (unlikely)
Hame-by all accounts had his best game of the season? but for me a guy his size should be striking fear in the opposition, and he hasnt done this, not worth a quota spot (IMO)
Great easter, and all we can hope for is more of the same, but as much as i admire your loyalty to Agar, i still am yet to be convinced hes the man for the job!

i can see your ppoint, the next game will tell if we have or not, even if we loose it the performance right now is more important because we have started playing good footie and the defence is better by the week

Very pleased with the win and looking forward to the saints game,win against saints and I will start to believe we have turned a corner and will provide a good platform for the rest of the season with the play offs and the CC,lose with a poor performance and its back to square one i am afraid

Think the Saints match will be the pointer to the rest of our season.

i agree, but as i said winning isnt as important right now as team spirit and the performance, if we can keep both of those going as shown at present we will take the spoils

As a lifelong fan of this club, I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong but I have this nagging feeling that I will be frustrated yet again and the saddest part is, there will be clueless idiots like you, telling us how close we got to the dream.

If we beat Wire and Saints,we have turned a corner as far as I am concerned.The trick is to kick on from there.

Who is saying we have got the dream if we beat saints ??
What is being said is that we will start a bit of consistency and that will set us up to challenge for the play offs and the CC
