Long kicking to his wing with Whiting on the inside, we could do some serious damage this year.

Give him another couple of games to get match-fit and he will be a great strike force. I was amazed that HKR seemingly had no answer to Long's kicks to the right. Gleeson will draw defenders, no matter what the play is. Given that it's his first game for seven weeks, his stamina may be down but he doesn't seem to have lost his strength

Paul Cullen was spot on saying that opposition defenders will back off him because he is class, that happened today time and time again.

It was just after he took a big hit and he was clutching his chest so possibly a combination of the hit and lack of match fitness. Great debut for Gleeson and we look so much better down that side now.

Heard hes hurt his knee,not sure how bad tho.

Was limping quite a lot 2nd half, seemed to be saying he was ok to the physio.

Considering his fitness, I thought he was class. Apart from spewing up twice

Yep......you could see in the first half he is no where near match fit yet he appeared to go through the pain barrier and get better as the game progressed....He is going to be awesome when he gets his full fitness back

Just watched it back on Sky. Gleeson was interviewed on the pitch a few minutes after the game which suggests to me any knock he picked up wasn't too bad.

Slotted in very nicely and seemed to enjoy the occasion. Can only get better

one word quality, what an diffrence a proper right centre and a quality one at that makes to a side and its threat on the edge. ive been banging on about it for years and for a long time on here about signing a right centre but alot of people dissmissed it as we have utility players in turner and whiting who can play there. well we could all tell he aint fit and look quite worring really on how unfit he was yeh ino he aint played for a couple of mounths but for an outside back there certainly need to be some fitness done

he was blowing big time at the end huh, chucked up all last weeks meals after the match too never mind todays ha ha
