I was on the wrong side to see clearly but he appeared to jump into the tackle from the side with a probable swinging arm/elbow. Bit of red mist.

At first viewing it wasn't a sending off as I didn't see much contact but would have to see it again to be sure. Yet again though it would never have happened if Childs had even the slightest bit of control in the game or had given the penalty Long should have had immediately prior to that.

I agree, sinbin and red card aside he had one of his most committed performances from the club, and was eager to lead and direct the play.

the bad thing is he will get a ban and yet again we struggle to play the same set of halves two weeks in a row.

Disagreed. The ref had no control over the players. He shouldn't have ran in like he did, he saw red due to his frustrations, but no way did that lose us the game.

The first instant. Long and Aspinwall, I arent 100% sure how it started, But to go toe to toe, Swinging as he was, He was always going to get removed from the field. That, Your key half back, We lose a second rower. You were in the ascendancy, And this limited your creativeness

Not only that, Late in the game, He ok. Appears to be taken high close to the line, Judgement call, The referee makes it. Deal with it.

The ref didn't have any control. But an experienced guy like Long should know better. If I was a Hull fan, I wouldn't be happy. I know an old timer at Cas (danny orr) wouldn't carry on like him.

Sorry but that is rubbish. Long was taken out once the ball had gone, the fact it then kicked off is one of those things. At 18-20 Long is in on the try line and taken high and gets nothing. Not sure he did anything wrong with the sending off, he looked to jump in with the shoulder.

He never cost us the game, he had a good game.
