Just sat here watching 'Sky Sports News' and its a piece on the 'SuperBowl'....

In a nutshell the Green Bay Packers' fans were blocks of cheese on their heads and swing 'Terrible Towels' above their heads.

Now I dont know if its been tried before and I know im going to get some mardy replies but, wouldnt it be good if the club could market some thing that the fans could buy and take to the games and maybe swing above their heads or blow or even whistle... They showed a clip of the fans in the crowd and they were swinging the yellow towels aboove their heads and it looked so cool, so simple and really effective...Plus the club could cash in big time.

Thoughts?

Have the club shop ran out of black & white scarfes.I dont think the H&S brigade will let rattles make a come back.

Tansey might be at a loose end this season.

Flags would be an obvious choice, even a scarfe I suppose...It would just look good for when the sky camera's are there.

I would prefer the team to look good rather than the crowd

That is correct..I lived in Pittsburgh for a couple of years a few years back and have adopted the Steelers as one of my favourite teams..I manage to get to a few games at Heinz Field and seeing the whole stadium waving the terrible towel around,(pardon the pun) looked pretty awsome but that was with 70,000 in the stadium.The atmosphere i have to say was electric and the fans really know how to make a noise.It would be great if Hull could adopt a simaliar thing to the terrible towel.I have no doubt it would enhance the F.C. match day experience and catch on really quickly.

Paul you would be suprised what sort of a lift the terrible towel made to the team.
