| Why do i get charged £2.00 per season pass (handling fee presumably).
When i purchase 3 season passes in one transaction with a debit card not a credit card?
And was wondering how were we doing regarding pass sales up or down.

| [iReview of the last month:
Season pass direct debit scheme – The concerns of some fans were raised regarding the £10 direct debit fee that is being added to every season pass purchased. It was agreed that as a percentage this fee is reasonable on an adults pass (at over £200) but on a childs pass (at £49) is expensive. The £2 per pass fee for debit card payments was also queried as a nominal fee is expected on credit cards but not debit cards as the payment is immediate. The security of fans travelling to the stadium with hundreds of pounds in cash as an alternative was felt to be a potential issue. Pete is to write to the club about these queries and also to offer the groups thanks for their introduction of a family seating area and booking via email option as suggested at previous meetings.

Totally appreciative of your reply, if but to just support my point of being charged as per season pass, via a debit card and not a credit card, i am awaiting reply from the "tell us " link.

| we didn't want to be 'ripped off' with the direct debit/credit card payments so paid by cash, had no worries or problems driving to the stadium with £560 in my wallet, parking up outside the ticket office, walking ten yards, going in and buying our passes!

They are a good idea, i stick £20 on each home game, no ticket to buy no coach travel to pay for so its not really missed. End of season you have 260/280 saved up.

| The clubs are charged by the ticket office for any card transactions that's why fans are.
In a reply from Finance Director Tony Sutton that the group received and passed onto individual complainants he stated .....'The fees for card transactions was borne from simplicity. I get charged for card transactions (by the ticket office), instead of attempting to pass on % fees to the customer and cause confusion and an excessive bottleneck at the ticket office window that would inevitably occur in busy times if people tried to calculate fees from a range of charges I kept it very simple, to use any card costs you £2.

Would be better IMHO if you could start up a direct debit now (12months at £20 - £25), rather than stamps which you are at risk of losing .
This would then cover any increase, any balance could be refunded in club shop vouchers

| whilst on the subject on season passes, its really good to see what bradford have done in the off season with the cheap season pass offer, next year the bulls could have upto 14k in season pass holders and with walkup and away support then that could see them with a 15-16k average maybe more, now i would love to see this introduced by hull for say 2012 and really market it and we could see 18k crowds on a regular basis which would be great thoughts?

while it is good they have shifted over 10,000 passes, but at what cost? the bulls fanbase was dropping quicker than a pair of prossies' knickers, if they kept on the way they were going, they would've been lucky to get 5,000!

havent drank in any of the bars since it went up to £3 a pint.i asked them then why it'd gone up and they jus replied its the recession.i said its the same for all of us as well.and i dont smoke.so when i'm charged for using my debit card for passes, which comes out instantly is annoying.and yet a cheque takes longer and more paperwork, but is free.go figure

Now this is just what I was gonna say ! I dont drink the "slop" they serve at the K.C......& I dont smoke....
The fact that they charge £2.00 per pass annoys me as all of my 3 passes were all under ONE transaction, with a debit card as has already been pointed out is "as good as cash" money has to be in account to make purchase unlike a CREDIT CARD ! your point about the cheque It does begger belief really dos'nt it !

| a debit card costs on average 20p a time use , a credit card usally charges 2% of the trnsaction value. The part that is amusing is someone paying in cash ie £560 would cost :- Debit card - 20p Credit card -£11.20 - cash(paying in charges) - £1.15 . Go figure!! best , safest and cheapest option for the club is Debit card

I am off to the cash point tomorrow for that very reason. They have no basis on charging £2 to use a debit card. It's a joke.
