| well with 10 games remaining whats everyones thoughts of the season so far and for the remainder of the season.
Think we are in a very strong position at the moment and we seem to be hitting the straps at just the right time,we are getting players back and when horney comes back i can see him and longy producing a very good partnership, the lads sem full of confidence, next week will be a toughy but its deffo one we can win as i see hudds as a bit of a hit and miss team, then we can go on and beat cats at home that will be a good return of 8 points from 8 in june think it could well be between us and leeds for 4th spot,i also believe agar bringing webster in was a great move 3 young coaches with agar and lasty who are all doing a great job with the first team and the 20s,i can see webster staying on beyond this season, i still think there is room for improvement but im well happy with the way things are going atm long may it continue, well done to all concerned.

| I think we won tonight without really playing well, we scored some really good tries but also bombed a lot of chances by dropping the ball. I am very happy with the two points and i always thought we would win the game because our defence looked relly good.
I look at the table and think wow 4th, well done boys but I also think we can play a lot better than we are doing and have we at last had a bit of luck. Agree with Wolfie, think Horne back for the business end of teh season might just be the spark we need to really get going.
All in all, 4th in the table with a lot more to come, cannot complain at that and it can only get better.

| The best bit for me has been the impact of the players brought in. O'Meley, Fitz and Long have been absolutely brilliant buys for the leadership and quality they bring to the team. I still think the squad balance is wrong, but you can't deny what these 3 bring to the party. Loving Manu's continued great form as well - he is absolute class and I'm delighted he's staying.
If you'd offered me 4th at this point at the start of the season I'd have bitten your hand off.
Next week's game and the Bradford one are the big markers for me - win those and top 4 could be on. Think we'll struggle v Hudds personally and we'll miss O'Meley big time in that game. I think we'll end up 5th or 6th now, depending on injuries (both ours and others) which is pretty good in the context of where we've been. Still not convinced that we wouldn't be doing better with a coach of the calibre of Smith/Maguire/McLennan, mind, but credit to Agar on bringing in the big 3 recruits if nothing else.

| The real thing that is pleasing me at the minute is that there looks like there is more to come from the team. Although we are playing well at times, I think if we can start putting a full eighty minute performance together come play off time then not many teams will fancy playing us.
Next few games are crucial for me, think we will miss ogre against shudds as they have a good pack, but as has been said they can be very hit and miss, so let's hope on Sunday they are miss! After that i would hope we would beat Cats at home.
I would be more than happy with fifth or sixth come end of the season, represents a real improvement on the previous two campaigns. Let's just carry on trying to improve and see where it takes us! Really trying not to get carried away, but after the last two years it's hard not to get a little excited when we are in such a much better position!!

that's a massive call dave and tbh I can't see it.
Wire won't lose 5, Wigan won't lose 7 and I wouldn't be surprised if Leeds only lose a couple. I'd happily take 5th any thing else is a bonus.

Top 3 then.
I predict
A v Hudds - L
H v Cats - W
A v Bulls - L
A v Wakey - W
H v Rovers - W
H v Wigan - W
A v Quins - W
H v Crusaders - W
A v Wire - L
H v Leeds - W
Thats not overly optimistic is it? Only away games ive predicted we'll win are Wakey and Quins. I expect to win our home games.

Wire could well lose 5 as they may have an eye on the cup again and with the playoffs guaranteed they could easily take the foot off the pedal so to speak. but we wont finish top 2.

| We are doing well at the moment and i predict a 5th place finish unless Leeds make the CC final then i will go for 4th. Either way it would be a good season if we do finish there and i will eat my proverbial hat. I may not go as far as adding standing to my shirt though
I think we can beat Hudds next week as we seem to do well against them, Rovers is a key game as in a derby anything can and usually does happen. I think we will slip up against one of the "easier" teams and that could well be our bogey side Quins.

| Ones we should be winning
Cats, Wakey, Rovers, Quins, Crusaders
Ones we should be running close either way
Bulls, Wigan, Leeds (Bulls because i have not been that impressed with them and Wigan Leeds because they are home fixtures)
Expect to lose to Wire and Hudds although i can see a win at Hudds and at Wire if they make the Final.

| The new players have been massive for us. Longy is looking good now after his injury, Turner shows great promise and Fitz and O'Meley are two of our best ever overseas signngs.
The improved home form has been another big plus for me. In 2008 in the league we lost 7 from 13 and last year we lost 8 from 13. So far this season we've won 7 from 8.
There is still plenty of improvement in the team and if we can be relatively injury free we can make the top five. In the play offs, who knows what can happen.

All four semi-finalists will be disrupted win or lose imo. Losing is deflating because you didn't make it to the final and winning takes your attention away from the league fixtures. I think FC have been affected in that way over recent years. I do think Warrington are a confidence team and if they lose it could be really bad for their season.
The two key FC games for me are Huddersfield and Rovers:
1. The lads must keep improving and remain tight defensively against Huddersfield whilst taking their chances which will be few and far between. If we beat them it will give the team a real confidence boost going into the next few matches.
2. The Rovers game (win or lose) will take a lot out of both teams - a big occasion with lots of physical rugby and an emotional crowd. The win at Craven Park really took it out of them and I see this being no different.

| Agree Mrs Barista, I think if we can win both of Hudds and Bradford it will be defo top 4 or maybe 3rd just looked at Wire fixtures and I think they will lose a maximum of three but I think we will finish above Saints and it will be a battle with Leeds for 3rd or 4th. I think we will win 7 or 8 from 10 I cannot make me mind up on the the Leeds game and the Quins game(hopefully we will win this one, there is 20 of us going down for a stag doo ).
A v Hudds - L
H v Cats - W
A v Bulls - W
A v Wakey - W
H v Rovers - W
H v Wigan - W
A v Quins - W
H v Crusaders - W
A v Wire - L
H v Leeds - W

| Sticking with my prediction before the season started we will finish 4th...
It will be a test for Agar to see if he can get the team at its best for the business end of the season, if so we could be in with a shout at the G/Final

| After the last two seasons I feel we have been shot into the stratosphere.
The whole team seem to have a spark about them now.If we can just cut out the daft errors I cant see why we can`t make top 4.

| I think the top three will stay the same with Leeds getting 4th and we will be fighting it out for 5/6th with Bulls and Hudds.
Right now we are winning games and in 4th position without htting our straps, it's not like we are peaking which is a good sign. Hopefully our best is to come, keep the key players fit and we have a shot.

That's how I see it ATM and I would be very happy with that. Add in a decent showing in the playoffs and I don't think anyone could argue about it being a successful season given where we started from.

| We're in fourth without playing that well but we are showing signs of improvement which is encouraging. I think we'll end up 4th or 5th with Warrington, Wigan, Saints and possibly Leeds in front of us.

Whilst no doubting Leeds are a quality side, possession is nine tenths of the law.
We possess 4th,all we need to do is hang on to it.
