| I know it hasnt kicked off yet but come wednesday all hell is going to break loose.
Dont know about you guys but im itching to watch it wednesday and I think its going to be an absolute corker because NSW havnt won a series in yonks, QLD have won the last 4 so I think its going to be the best yet.
I personally have been a QLD armchair fan as long as I can remember and I think its going to be another QLD win this year, I think there'll win the 1st 2 games and lose the last...
Its going to be interesting in the Hull FC camp to because we have a few ex-origin stars in there with Berro, Fitz and O'Meley with the latter 2 been very proud NSW men.
For those who dont know its on or who havnt ever been interested in it I recommend you tune in because it's the best rugby you can watch, im predicting a good few punch ups too.
So who are you QLD or NSW?

| You cant split loyalties ha ha...Yeah I know what you mean, Slater,Folou and Inglis to name 3, scary thought. I know Yeamo is usually solid in defence and I wonder how he'd fair againt Folou or Inglis, probably get his pants pulled down like.

| Queenslander all the way as think it means more to them due to the whole history behind the game and the NSW bias for the Kangaroos.
Went to game 2 at Telstra few years ago and the atmosphere was electric and anyone in Maroon took loads of stick including me

| Unfortunatley the nsw selectors have chosen a poor side.
The qld side has hardly changed over the last few years and I could only see nsw having a chance if they out mongreled them in the first game but they haven't picked the side.

| here's the teams
Queensland
Billy Slater, Darius Boyd, Greg Inglis, Willie Tonga, Israel Folau, Darren Lockyer (capt), Johnathan Thurston, Matthew Scott, Cameron Smith, Petero Civoniceva, Nate Myles, Sam Thaiday, Ashley Harrison Interchange: Cooper Cronk, David Shillington, Neville Costigan, David Taylor
New South Wales
Kurt Gidley (capt), Brett Morris, Matt Cooper, Timana Tahu, Jarryd Hayne, Jamie Lyon, Brett Kimmorley, Michael Weyman, Michael Ennis, Josh Perry, Trent Waterhouse, Ben Creagh, Anthony Watmough. Interchange: Jamal Idris, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs, Luke Lewis, Brett White
reckon its a bit more evenly matched than some think, but lyon at stand off smacks a bit of desperation though all the nsw backs have impressed me this year. nice to see dave taylor get a spot for the maroons, he's been excellent for the bunnies so far this year

| NSW for me. Cant wait, straight to the pub after work to watch it. Good mix of QLD and NSW fans in NZ so pub should have a good atmosphere.

| iv adopted nsw as my orgin team after growing up watching daley, ettinghausen, elias and frittler. Saying that in the current series i cant see anything other than another moroon win. Cant shine a light to their backline! Prayin for a mighty blues win for wednesday!

| Looking again at the teams it is more evenly matched than I first thought. The halves are the weak part for NSW and personally I would have had Hayne at fullback as he is in great form.
Also think Queensland should have Folau at centre, he is proving at Brisbane this season that it's his best position.

| The QLDs selectors don't seem to keen on lote so I can't see falou moving off the wing, certainly not if hodges was back.
If Inglis misses the game I'd be tempted to bring in Tate to the centres before moving falou.
The weather could even things up.

gidley is in for his goal kicking probably, and is also captain. he's been playing pretty well and won't let anyone down

True but he could have played 6 and Lyon could have played centre. Hayne is a matchwinner and needs to be on the ball as much as possible.

As Sheldon has said the NSW selectors picking Gidley as captain has come back to bite them on the ass as Hayne should be at fullback with Josh Morris on the wing IMO. Picking Cooper and Tahu at centre is NSW saying they are terrified of the Maroons backline and have gone for defence over offence.

| Think the NSW team is a good mix and hope Qld dont have it all their own way.
Would love to see NSW win it and will be cheering on The Blues.

| Cheering on the Maroons here, but will at least stay off RLFans in case I see the score, as I'll miss the live game and will watch the rerun.
