not really a good pass was behind him slightly but very well finished, not sure he would have scored the try if he didnt sell the dummy to Briscoe, the Quins winger looked to be coming inside until hall sold him it and just created the half a yard he need to speed through.

The final pass was a little off but the move was well executed overall. Turner dummied the pass to one or two dummy runners before finally passing to Hall who was well supported by Briscoe. Good stuff.

Completely agree mate was just pointing out the pass was slightly behind Hall but he took it really well mor eof the same please

Agreed , Hall in attack is the best we have.

Hall and briscoe are different palyers. Briscoe is about pace and power. the try last night took guile, acceleration and an awareness of everything going on around him. Doubt briscoe would have sent the FB the wrong way with a quick look at his winger like Hall did

The try had more to do with an extremely well worked move that wrong-footed the defence. Anyone with pace would have gone through the gap created. The dummy was nice but not the only requisite of a centre in scoring that try imo.

Was it Rich Whiting who made the dummy run throught the centre ? That was the key to the opening of the gap as the outside defender got interested in him but Hally has a superb balanced running style in broken field and was just the man to take advantage.

Briscoe would never of had to dummy to his winger, he'd of already been 5 yards past him!

think briscoe would have tried to go over the full back, he`s got a bit more bulk than hall

Was a great move, said to me dad as they packed down that a set move was about to happen, could see the way the line was set up. And low and behold, T R Y! Great move, straight off the park, and pleased for Hall too.

on a number of ocassions they came flat with no full back from the scrum asking for a deft kick through and runners onto the ball!!

He could easily have used pace and power, every likelyhood that he could have scored that try.

I said that to mate a lot of teams defend a scrum with no fb in place , give Calders something to chase .

Me and my cousin were having that conversation last night too.

Hall also gave a deft pass out to Calderwood as well........Yes Hall will drop off tackles and miss but give him the ball in his hands and he is our main strike CENTRE and thats why he has to play CENTRE.
