Far be it from me to agree with you Mrs B, but imho Fitzgibbon was the best player on the park by a considerable margin. A very impressive display by Hull tonight right accross the park and they highlighted how ordinary Saints now are. Two length of the field tries highlighted thier lack of pace and the way Hull dominated their pack showed their forwards (Graham aside) are a spent force.

The final scoreline flattered Saints by some distance.

Couple of outstanding carries but he ain't my cup of tea. He was never seriously tested tonight and i doubt he'll have played in an easier game in years. Even big Hutch had a couple of decent games

Got to see quite a bit of Fitz sorting our defence out tonight. He seems to aim to put himself in the direct line of fire and make sure he's got adequate cover left and right. Tireless worker and 1st name on the teamsheet.

Did the women on the board like the look of Lauaki in his Hull FC 'belly' top?



Maybe theres another piece of marketing for them to use, seeing as it is a summer sport.
If they do use the idea I'm willing to arrange some sort of % of the price for me.

It was hardly an easy game for him GG. Hull and Lauaki played well and didn't allow Saints to play. I don't think your giving him enough credit for his display tonight.

What he gives to the team is not measureable( immeasurable)..????? have a source in the dressing room and his command of respect of each and all is stunning.

Fitzgibbon was immense tonight.

I said when he signed that he was probably our biggest and most important signing since Peter Sterling and I stand by that. He ooses professionalism and is a complete machine.

You can't argue with that .. The best signing for Hull fc for a decade. On or off the pitch.

bit too early to say IMO. Smith, Swain and Kearney all played big roles for the club in the last decade.

Swainy was almost god like with some of his performances. Never had a bad game for us.

Remember when Briscoe scored 4 tries yet he didn't win the MOM...Swainy did. Still say Swainy won us the CC too with his block at the DG attempt.

Fitzy is looking good, but i must say for me Richard Swain is a HULLFC legend, and dont forget Jason "god" Smith.

I don't think any of those started off their Hull fc careers like he has . Kearney , I would have back here as a coach in a shot and one who would come the closest.
