Odd. I seem to recall that the donation of 'free' land by the University was an integral part of the original deal.  |

| There is some land up near me between Thomas Clarkson Way and Bodmin rd that is designated for sports only. They did look at it to build the stadium on at one point now that could be OK and its also council owned.
Hull city have a couple of facilities The Cott one and the old Ideal standard one on County rd. I hear they are looking for yet another site as well, but that is going to out of town towards West Yorkshire.  |

does anyone know how many acres are being sought after? and does anyone know what's happening with Boothferry road, not a million miles away from the KC and yet another site in our city in desperate need of some TLC, though I would personally love to see the Boulevard redeveloped for the obvious sentimental reasons
