Horne isn't a great player people make him out to be, he does the odd good try here and there but for me he is not what you want from your stand off. He doesn't do enough for me, people defend him but I don't understand why.

Why can Thorman be slated for being a rubbish half back but not Horne ? Horne can't create and I even dare say players like Jason Smith and Paul Cooke made him look better then he actually is. There is a reason he has being at Hull for so long and we have never had stiff competition to get him to sign contracts.

Horne has done nothing, its not about whether others are or not, it is his job along with Thorman to get the team around the park and get us scoring points. He does neither, how many games as Horne took by the scruff of the neck or had a really good game ?

Obviousley he is one of your favourites, so rather then trying to defend your beliefs your just coming up with vintage forum posts. Horne looked good at full back for us but as a stand off ? How long has he hid behind the youngsters tag, he is not on his own but as this thread is about a stand off I will air my views on it.

Not all Horne's fault we lost, no one has said that and it seems to me its something you are making up.
