Rules finally lost the plot

More than one it seems.

According to the Grapevine the club received complaints about a couple of incidents - one was the well-discussed Burns rant about Reardon, the other was Burns and Gollum moaning about the FCTV piece that Rule did concerning Reardon.

It's difficult to believe that grown men on either side of this argument, and supposedly professional ones at that, can't find a better resolution than this.

We all know Radio Humberside are rubbish - and the Burns rant was particularly out of order but this ban is just pathetic.

Humberside is rubbish, and Look North is just cosy TV for elderly

but at the same time I don't see what banning them again acheives

Ok. So we've banned them again. And in a few months where going to unban them again. And then they will say something else and we ban them again? Radio Humberside don't care, there the BBC, its hardly going to impact on them and they will just make a joke out of this and constantly refer to their efforts to re-establish contact again which will of course be ignored (which they will take great delight in).

We need to find a better way of dealing with this situation.

I am glad they are banned, can't stand listening to sports talk burn's and gollum are the biggest pair off pill***s on the radio. But it won't affect Humberside anyway as they are funded by our license fee, so even if all FC fans listen to KCFM they still getthere revenue and those two still keep there jobs

Nobody seriously listen to the drivel that they spout anymore do they?

Indeed. I would have preferred we make a formal complaint to the BBC (not Humberside) and maybe the regulator if we felt that the BBC wasn't taking the complaint seriously. If necessary we could refuse to deal with Burns and/or Gollum rather than the whole station. This kind of ban is just stooping to their level IMO.

And what have Look North done?

As far as im concerned Burnsy was only saying on air what the fans were thinking off air. The club in the last few months have made some laughable errors and opened themselves up for criticism.

Since the last episode between Radio Humberside and the club many fans have chosen to see them a pro-Hull KR and jumo upon any negatives coming out towards Hull FC.

Our club have taken any opportunity to advertise KCFM.

I dont care what anyone tells me as far as i'm concerned KCFM are told what they can and can't report by both Hull FC and Hull City. Radio Humberside will not be gagged and for that reason will still get my preference.

If the club don't want negative news they should get themselves sorted out and stop creating it!
