If they're going to do anything with it (reseed?) they'll probably start it on Sunday / Monday. We don't use the stadium from Sunday 2nd June until Monday 1st July.

All it needs is a player to get hurt and "Dr" Allam may well have a claim on his hands.

Disgusting that he's even considered hosting the tournament during our season, but that is the measure of the "man"

What's the minimim in goal area and length of pitch?

Could shorten both and avoid most of the dodgy area

If you look closer, most of it is still covered in matting. I'm sure once cleared, within a couple of days it will look better.

Mind you it will be a disgrace if Hull FC subsequently damage the pitch again and ruin the chance to hold more Squash Championships in the City next year!

Think you'll find that the "matting" is the turf, blend of grass and synthetic, that's what it looks like when it's well and trully fooked

This squash event barely got a mention in the media, not the worldwide event the Dr promised.

Worth it, though, for the (literally) dozens of people who flocked to the KC for the Allam World Squash Championships.

The city has pretty much spoken about nothing else all week.

Ironic that supporters of RL are belittling a minority sport.

There were about a dozen people in the photo I saw. Poor little sods were from a school which had been given free tickets to drag them there. Probably so they could be asked to sit together tk create the 'crowd'. I wonder how large the 'squash related losses' are that the SMC chalked up on this one?

Basically a modular building in front of the South Stand with squash courts inside.

Sky are going to love this tomorrow. They are always complaining about pitch quality.

It's a shambles that its like that. The whole tournament was a shambles. It got in the way of Luke Campbell's organization I heard as he wanted to fight at KC but due to the pitch going to have to be replaced he couldn't have it so its now in some park to the east of hull.
