Just washed my home shirt in a 40 degree cycle (with some other stuff too).......Its the first time it has been washed and ALL the P&O printing as well as the HullTrains logo has come off. The Chewie 7 is Ok on the back but the white V seems a shade 'darker' too!!!

Anyone else had this promlem???? I shall be heading to the KC tomorrow. Just to add....the other stuff in the washer was more 'delicate' than the roughty-toughty rugby shirt....and came out ok!!! Not Happy

if you washed it like the label says then it will be fine.

I knew the feel good factor wouldnt last.

Got a hoodie and the colours have faded a bit on the flag.

My lads home shirt has been washed a couple of times as per label. P&O flag has faded big time and there is some loose stitching around the V

I dont mind the away one but still really dislike the home one.

Away one the better fit but looks "washed out"......home one ok but the players kit does look a hell of a lot better.

Did that......It says to machine wash in warm water and inside out.......Thats what I did!!!! 40 degrees is LOW.....In fact I dont think my washer goes any lower than that!!!

Love the design of the shirt.....best 'alternative' design for years......I just hope the good folk at the KC shop believe me. Cos it looks like its been boiled with all the tansfers hanging off or missing completely

now dont get me wrong i know its a public online forum but if you have a dodgy shirt/ hoody or whatever and its washed wrong regardless if you have/have not washed it correctly, just take it back to the shop, threads like these only attract sarky comments from certain forum members...Let Hull FC club shop deal with it!

I bougth the B&W irregular hoop number we had out a couple of seasons ago like this years home shirt the P&O advert was transfered on it faded in the end and looked pooh...so this year because the home shirt had transfers I went for the away...you cannot ruin stitching no matter how un domesticated you are

hi mate the mrs said she washes them on 30 and puts them in on there own, sorry you had bother better take it back

I bought one for my boy and he has not been out of it apart from it being washed. I was told to wash it inside out on 30 and then hang to dry. Shape and colour are fine, just the transfers for P&O fading. It certainly won't be a shirt that lasts for years like previous shirts.

What's wrong with "air-washing"?

Turn the shirt inside out, hang it on the line for a couple of days and it will be far fresher than any washer can produce

Our lass aint chanced it,hand washed it every time.She had bother with last years coat,washed it as normal by it's self.It came out bleedin grey.It was not tell she read the label,cold wash only it says.

Not sure how sales went but there was still a rack of them left on Thursday. Think the £80 price tag put a lot off.
