Judging on our pitiful performances so far and no doubt Smiths obsession to have Houghton at 9 and Brown in the halves alongside guess what another hooker in Smith I can only see a hammering coming and most likely another nilling. As with the Smith/Brown pairing we have next to little craft in the halves. Saw more from the Smith/Hoy pairing than Smith/Brown. Brown is by far the better 9 so he should be at 9 and Balmforth on the bench who at least offers some attacking threat, speed and guile in his game.
With Ese’ese back and Bullock on loan I’d rather Smith go with Sao at LF.
